Jessica Seinfeld Decides Jerry's Career Is Over

I don't know if Jerry Seinfeld is aware of the fact that his career in television and films is over or not, but apparently his wife does. While speaking to the Queen Of Kneepads (Barbara Walters) on the latter's radio program, Jessica Seinfeld made the statement that Jerry is done with his film career. "Jerry is . . . as he would say, he's at the end of his career. [the movie] "took four years out of our life . . . My children are not going to see their father for 23 days [while he's promoting it]." In the future, he'll just do stand-up. "That makes him happy. He goes for 36 hours," Jessica said. "I like to have my bed to myself once in a while."

First of all Jerry seems to be talking a great deal about new sitcoms and films for a guy who is headed off to the Vegas showrooms of life. Second, lets take a look at Ms. Recipe Stealing's words shall we?

My children are not going to see their father -- Wouldn't they be our children? Does she really think of them as her children and Jerry was just a sperm donor. She makes it all sound so clinical. This is the kind of woman who only has sex with the lights off, at pre-ordained times, and only if Jerry has been good, and never, never, more than once a week.

That makes him happy--I'm sure standup does make Jerry happy. Most comedians love it. However, the way she says it is like she has decided what makes Jerry happy and that there is no way he could be happy doing anything else. I think he is probably damn ecstatic doing standup because he gets out of her clutches for 36 hours.

I like to have my bed to myself once in a while--Should a woman who was married for like 10 minutes before leaving her husband for the richer Jerry Seinfeld be making statements like that? Not that she would have an affair. I mean, I think she would, but Jerry is really wealthy and it would be tough to find a richer guy, who would also let her walk all over him the way she does to Jerry. You really think it was Jerry's idea to go out and defend Ms. Recipe Stealer during each and every one of his interviews about his movie? I bet he got call after call telling him what he needed to say, what to wear, and how he could have done a better job of defending her. Jessica is the kind of wife where nothing is perfect. The only time she is happy is when she has perfect control over the situation. Right now she thinks she has total control over Jerry. We'll see how that all works out.
