Eva Does Something Good

I made a promise to someone that if Eva Longoria ever did anything nice, I would post it. Eva did something nice. End of story.

There is a long, fractured and tortured story behind the animosity I have towards Eva Longoria. To describe it all would give too much away about me, and so she remains off the hook except for when I can find something mean to write about her.

This time though is different. Eva did something incredibly nice. Several writers on the show Desperate Housewives are picketing outside one of the houses used for filming. Eva basically raided the entire craft service table and brought it out to the writers and told them she would be joining them on the picket line when filming was over on Thursday. Good job Eva. Now I am going to be sick.

It was a class move, and contrasted to another cast member on the show who took at a "let them eat cake" attitude. Hmmm, wonder who that was.

Now I don't want anyone to think that Eva is actually going to join the picket line with the writers. It was a great quote and will be picked up everywhere, but shouldn't be taken literally. She won't actually be there walking around in circles. What Eva meant was that she wouldn't be working while the writers are striking. Of course since the show will be shut down Thursday, that is a pretty easy promise to keep. Meanwhile, if someone offers her enough money to shoot a film that already has a script completed, Eva would be at the makeup trailer first. Not that she isn't always there first. She needs more makeup, and to have it applied more skillfully than anyone else so she gets there first. Hey. How nice do you want me to be?

  1. So does this mean Terry Hatcher was the answer to yesterday's BI? Sorry Patricia Heaton, I should have thought better of you.

  2. Don't feel bad Reese, I'm sure Patricia will do something soon to deserve it...if she hasn't already.

It does sound like Teri, she's more the "comedy" actress than the rest. Nicolette is more melodrama, and Felicty's more drama. Dana Delaney is supposed to be nice in person so it couldn't have been her.

And Ent just outed himself as JC Chasez! It would explain the fashion obsession. (I'm kidding.)

  4. I think yesterday was Patricia Heaton or Joely Fisher. E news yesterday said the only shows that had been shut down were Back to You and the Joely Fisher/Brad Garrett show...then there was another but it wasn't a comedy.

  5. How come I suspect Eva did this because there were plenty of Entertainment Tonight type cameras present?

Wow so my new vote is for Teri, or perhaps Nicolette!

Ent, can't you craft a lovely BI about your history with EL?

So her great kindness is that she just grabbed some stuff that was within arms' reach, food that didn't cost her a penny or a minute's worth of forethought, and 'gave' it to the writers? Meh.
