Alcohol And Cigarette Breath Makes Everyone Cringe
At the NY Comedy Festival this weekend, the cast of Scrubs was honored, and were quite open in a Q&A session with audience members. One audience member asked the cast who the best guest star was and who the worst guest star was. While each of the cast had different ideas who the best guest star was (Keri Russell and Brendan Fraser had the most votes), there was a unanimous choice to who was the absolute worst.
"Tara Reid" they all chimed in simultaneously. It seems that during the entire time Tara was filming, you couldn't get within ten feet of her because she just reeked of alcohol and cigarettes and that if she breathed on you, you remembered it. No matter how many breath mints they offered her, it just wouldn't go away because she kept drinking and smoking the entire time.
Scrubs, the show, has let me down in the funny department the past couple of seasons, but this one simple answer to one little panel has unreservedly won back my love. It doesn't even matter to me that the answer was Tara Reid (I actually loved her in Girl, with DS) I'm just thrilled that they actually answered the question instead of skirting around it.
ReplyDeleteWow talk about typecasting at its best.
ReplyDeletei love them for saying that. she looks like a walking cigarette butt.
ReplyDeleteWow, Ent used to be Tara's buddy.
ReplyDeleteI think she actually played a walking cigarette butt in one scene on the show, I guess she didn't even get a clue from that.
ReplyDeleteCan't say I'm sorry that Zach Braff had to swap spit with her though.
The only people that don't notice party breath are other partiers.
ReplyDeleteHmmm... Ausiello on TVGuide.com had a blind item that suggested Keri Russell & Zach Braff absolutely hated each other on set. Maybe that's why the rest of the cast liked her?
ReplyDeleteI can think of a few other things she probably smells like.
ReplyDeleteEeeeeeeeewwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteKelly! What a great diet. I just lost my appetite.
Times have changed, and I think that it's great. In days gone by, no one would have named names like that. This seems deserved. She has to be pretty bad to not even notice or care. Drinking on the job? Pretty unprofessional, no matter what profession you are in.
ReplyDeletemoonmaid, I think that type of politically correct silence" would only apply if there was some chance of losing fans or offending any member of their audience. I can't see anyone making a YouTube vid
ReplyDelete"LEAVE TARA ALONE!"
LOL Kelly, you are right. The only ones who might object are a few drunken horny guys who would say, "Party on Tara!"
ReplyDeleteSad.
