If You Had Perez Hilton Under Oath For Four Hours What Would You Ask?

A few months ago, I told you about Samantha Ronson suing Perez Hilton for defamation after Perez reported that Samantha Ronson had planted cocaine in Lindsay Lohan's car for the police to find.

Perez had just repeated something Celebrity Babylon had written. Celebrity Babylon was sued but has settled their case with Samantha Ronson, leaving just Perez on the hook.

Although I have said it before, let's go over what Samantha would need to do to win. In addition to proving the report is false, Samantha must prove that Perez acted with malice. She must prove malice because of the fact that she is a public figure.

Perez' attorneys tried to get the case dismissed by saying that Samantha had not proved malice. However, the judge is going to let the case move forward through the discovery process and means Samantha's attorneys are going to have the opportunity to depose Perez. The judge has limited the deposition to four hours, but for those four hours, Perez will be on the hot seat. In a deposition, almost anything can be asked, and you can be sure that Samantha's attorneys will be doing some in depth questioning that will be very uncomfortable.

Who wants to bet that some of that deposition is going to leak and end up on a blog somewhere.
