Just 50 Days Until The Sex Pistols Reunion Show

Brixton Academy in London will be the scene on November 8th when original members John Lydon, Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock will reunite for one outrageous show thirty years after their debut album was released.

Never Mind The Bollocks Here’s The Sex Pistols and its incredible singles Anarchy In The UK, God Save The Queen, Pretty Vacant and Holidays In The Sun are to be re-issued on vinyl throughout October for the album’s 30th anniversary.

NME in the UK are trying to get everyone to buy a copy of God Save The Queen in order to make it the number one song in Britain and to give the Sex Pistols something they didn't have the first time around.

When the song was first released in 1977, most radio stations were banned from playing it as well as all television stations. In fact, almost half of the record stores in the UK also refused to sell it. My how times have changed.

Of all the months for me to be in school and broke, it has to be the month the Sex Pistols do a reunion show. It's enough to make me cry.

  5. alyson....

don't cry, they weren't all thatgreat the last time they went on the road. I saw them in CO. Poor, elderly Lydon needed an oxygen mask and tank after a short period of time, LOL! I'll stick to my CDs.

So glad they're doing this gig. Dont think they can be coerced to tour though.
Their Bill Grundy Show appearance may be the funniest 2:01 in TV history.

  8. I always preferred the Clash to the Sex Pistols, but I have to give credit to Steve Jones - who would have thought he'd be such an entertaining DJ?

Haha, wow. Okay, so perhaps it won't be as exciting as my mental image, then. But still - wouldn't it be great to say you've seen them? (And I guess you can!)
