Beyonce’s dad/manager Matthew Knowles unexpectedly announced that lil sis Solange would head his record label/management company, Music World, when he steps down. Grammy winner big sis is said to be “livid”, says a close source to Beyonce. “She feels humiliated because she she’s clearly the star in the family and definitely the one with music experience.”

Meanwhile, Solange’s pop career is on hold. Lobbying hard for this job, it is clear Solange has “no business experience” states the source. Adding “it’s ludicrous that Solange is going to be president and CEO of a multi-million dollar music company…She wants to make her in the music world, and she knows she knows she’ll never outsell Beyonce …”

Matthew’s power play could be motivated by his unhappiness with Beyonce’s nearly five year romance with hip-hop mogul Jay-Z.

Hugh Hefner to be a dad
Hugh Heffner was spotted acting paternal as he tenderly patted girlfriend Holly Madison’s tummy at a May 15 party at L.A. ’s Hyde Lounge. Forgoing her usual snug attire, Holly, 27, one of Hef’s three girlfriends, sported a baggy babby doll dress.

Sources say no baby is on the way just yet, but don’t be surprised if the father of four becomes a dad again! “Holly’s just dying to get pregnant and marry Hef so he can be all hers,” one of her pal tells Star.

Jen wants to adopt

Pals says the star is “at a place where she seems at peace with her life, but she is actually very lonesome.” Adding that “she’s 38 and in her prime. The only thing she is missing is a baby.”

When Jen divorced Brad Pitt in 2005, many speculated the reason for their split centered around Jen’s reluctance to get pregnant and postpone her career. But Jen claims she always wanted to be a mom. “I’ve never in my life said I didn’t want to have children,” Jen said. Adding, “I did and I do and I will!” With no man in her picture, having it all would mean adopting a baby as a single mom. Luckily, she would not have to go through the process totally alone. She is already a Godmother to best friend Courtney Cox Arquette’s daughter Coco. “Jen is really good with Coco and the kids of her other friends” says a friend. “So much so that they have been pushing her to be a mom! Everyone tells Jen how maternal she is, especially Courtney and Sheryl.”

Though becoming a mom is not like buying a new designer handbag, Jen’s pal insists that the timing for a new little Friend is perfect. “She has the means to give a child a good life,” the friend says. “Jen wants to have the bliss of being a mom and lead the lonely life behind.”

Spending her time declining offers of champagne from male admirers, “she looked like she was having a good time.” Said producer Rolf Dahmer, who was involved with three films at the festival.

Meanwhile, John was seen partying at NYC club Stereo and “…hitting on every super skinny girl there,” says a report.
