Virginia Tech Shootings
I have a few friends who I grew up who went to Virginia Tech. Obviously they don't attend anymore, but I think I would be remiss if I didn't point out the absurdity of a gossip site when things that are really important are taking place. I'm going to continue to post today so that you can take a break if you need to from the this horrible reality. I don't want anyone to think I'm taking today's events lightly, because I'm not. My thoughts and prayers are with all the families of the victims.
Sometimes it seems like the whole world has gone crazy.
ReplyDeleteBecause it has. Very sad.
ReplyDeleteomg those poor (((families))). :(
ReplyDeleteVery sad about the Virg Tech deaths. Also, very sad that people are dying horrific deaths around the world everyday, Iraq, Africa, USA.
ReplyDeleteIt is no disrespect to continue living our lives though.
It's great that you took the time to honor those in pain.
I second that Ent. This is horrible. my prayers are with everyone involved and affected. :-(
ReplyDeleteThanks ENT, this is a nice break from all of the ugliness.
ReplyDeleteThanks, EL. From what's been said thus far, and it may just be rumor, it's all because some guy couldn't take rejection. Will we NOW start to seriously question how we raise our male children?
ReplyDeleteJuju
Thanks EL.
ReplyDeleteIt's just horrid. For both the families of the victims, and the family of the shooter.
It is terrible. I feel so deeply for the victims and their families. The worst part is that I feel sorry for the shooter too. Something terrible must have happened in his upbringing to either make him that cruel or that far from reality.
ReplyDeleteI live in Vienna, VA, and many of the kids who graduate from our local high schools go to VA Tech. Many alumni live here as well.
ReplyDeleteWe're waiting to hear if anyone we know had been killed.
Please keep the students and their families in your thoughts and prayers.
