Fun at the O'Neal House
Let me get this straight. Ryan O'Neal goes over to Farrah Fawcett's house where they stumble and mumble through her birthday party barely understanding each other. While he is there, Redmond who is one of his sons, OD's on PCP. The paramedics are called, the son is revived and he refuses to go to the hospital. So Ryan decided he would rather spend time with Farrah then go home and see his maybe dead son? Then, after the paramedics leave, Griffin O'Neal ties up Redmond in the dog kennel and leaves him there.

Do you think Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett broke up because he used to tie her up in the dog kennel? I mean someone had to teach Griffin the trick of how to do it. I guess it is possible that it had never been done before. That somehow Griffin said to himself, I know, I am going to tie up Redmond by his neck in the dog kennel.

Just an observation, but I noticed in the video of Griffin at the press conferance, that he appeared totally sober, and somewhat defeated by the whole thing (that was just my impression).

Ryans lawyer says he was beat up and injured on the legs, arms and hands, and yet I've seen various videos of him going to the gym and playing tennis a day later.

Interesting that if he was so injured, he could go to the gym and play tennis....

That whole family is so incredibly demented it is almost laughable, except I wish they would all just go away. Forever.

ENT, thanks for fixing Raymond to Redmond. Sorry you're having a bad day.

Wow, all this without even mentioning the most famous story of Farrah at some Oscar party years ago -- she found the bathrooms were all occupied so went out in full view of the guests assembled on the balcony and took a poo on the lawn. Not a pee, a poo... while the elegantly dressed guests watched in horror. What a nutter.

[FYI I read that story a few years back in Joe Eszterhas' book American Rhapsody and it's been written up in several other places. And Ryan O'Neal later starred in Eszterhas' Alan Smithee movie -- wonder if they discussed it?]

Read Tatum's book. It is learned behaviour. Tatum and Griffin used to be locked up in the garage when they were very, very little so that mommy could go party. No kidding. Daddy wasn't even around and didn't care. That is one truly messed up family. I believe the story has been amended a bit though. New reports say that Redmond was chained to a stairway banister, and the police have video of this. Ryan was also the one who got the fireplace poker. To be honest, I feel sorry for Griffin, Tatum and Redmond. They were raised in such a messed up environment, they have no idea that this isn't normal or ordinary behaviour. Very sad.

When I first read this story it saddened me because the kids are soo screwed up. Tatum a big coke head who had her kids taken away. Griffin a jailbird, and now the Redmond a drug addict.
