JACKASS v KINDNESS

JACKASS

This past weekend I was leaving one of my favorite restaurants in LA. I love a good steak and this place has the best. Like everyone else does here in LA, I was waiting in line for the valet. There were about four people ahead of my group. I had seen this actor inside, and although we are not friends, we certainly know each other enough to say hello. Throughout the evening I had seen this actor enjoying drink after drink and growing louder and louder. He was being obnoxious, but nothing out of the ordinary or worth a mention here. UNTIL, he and his companions emerged from the restaurant and proceeded to push their way through to the front of the valet line. For some reason there was only one valet working and so things were moving a little slow. However, everyone was in a good mood and no one was complaining because they could all see how hard the one valet was working. He was not walking anywhere. He was running flat out. The valet looked to be in his mid 20's and was from Mexico. His English was poor which was going to cost him in a few minutes. When our actor came outside, the valet was not there because he was running to get a car. This immediately sent Mr. Ass into a rant about how no one has good service anymore and he had a movie opening soon and companies just did not value customer service.

So, the valet comes back with a car and now there are three people ahead of my group and the first in line prepares to give his ticket to the valet. The valet is about to grab it, when Mr. Ass says, "Hold it, I need to go first. I have a talk show I am supposed to do in twenty minutes." Well it is almost 11pm and no one is buying that story. The valet did not really understand what Mr. Ass was saying, just that there was an angry man getting more angry by the minute right in his face. The valet kind of gave a half smile and a shrug, and went back to the person who was first. At that point, Mr. Ass decided to play the do you know who I am card. I hate that card and to have this almost A lister recite what he has done and is doing to a man who did not understand a word was really humorous if you were not being the guy yelled at. It is so LA and so annoying. At that point, Mr. Ass lost it and his friends were trying to slink away. Mr. Ass said he would just go get his car himself and where were all the damn keys. The valet pointed and Mr. Ass got his keys and then asked where the cars were parked. It turns out the cars were about two blocks away. That sent Mr. Ass into a rant about how could the cars be protected if they were that far away and there better not be any damage to his car, etc. BUT it was too far for him to bother with it and that the valet should get it NOW. Well, it looked like we were in for another outburst of yelling and screaming, but everyone agreed Mr. Ass should go first. We just did not have the guts to watch it and you could tell the valet just wanted to escape the wrath of Mr. Ass.

The valet got back a few minutes later with the vehicle and Mr. Ass actually had the nerve to say it’s about time. No tip, no manners, and not the first time. Needless to say, the valet made a ton of money off the rest of us, but Mr. Ass needs a good ass kicking.

KINDNESS

This actress has not been in many things, but everyone will know her for all time anyway. Went from bit player to big star almost overnight. A lovely woman who never let her stardom give her a fat head like Mr. Ass up above. Anyway, it turns out that our actress has a habit. Every Monday she gets $500 in fives from the bank and over the course of the week gives it all away. She generally gives away $100 a day, five days a week. A homeless person asks for money, $5 and she just keeps on repeating this over and over. She knows how lucky she is to be where she is and never wants to forget where she came from. Each day as she runs into people who ask, and in LA there are plenty, she never says no and always gives $5. Homeless people who have no idea what she does for a living, just know she is someone they can always count on for a kind word and that $5. Just in her $5 plan she gives away almost $26,000 a year. She does not do it for publicity and obviously does not get receipts. She does not try and claim it on her taxes. She does it just because she cares. The $26,000 is not a bunch of money, but it is 5,200 people she has helped over the course of the year. She has looked in their eyes and knows she has a made a difference.

In reality, the $26,000 is not all she does in public. From Thanksgiving until Christmas, she raises the $5 to $20 and for one month, she gives away about $400 a day. Each person she runs into gets a $20 bill which can mean several days of food or even half the cost of a hotel room. Homeless people stop and thank her and quite often do not ask for the money again. They instead bring other people or tell her a story of what happened after she gave them some money. It is truly incredible what she does each and everyday, no matter where in the world she is. What makes it even more incredible is this story which I have heard once or twice before was a topic of conversation during the dinner with Mr. Ass.

For the kindness - I'm guessing Mary McDonnell. She was in the TV movie "For all Time" and she went from basically unknown to star with Dances With Wolves". Plus, she's never gotten any press for bad behavior. I'd believe she is a kind person in real life.

i'm w/you the clues are hard to find here... but i musta picked the same line as anon 12:33 bcs i typed 'for all time' into imdb and only one that popped for me from that tv show was also mary mcdonnell. maybe her. nothing else really came up under the 'for all time' search.
    no clue on the ass.

'What makes it even more incredible is this story which I have heard once or twice before was a topic of conversation during the dinner with Mr. Ass.'

does Ent mean that very night that mr ass was being an ass his group of peeps were talking about kindness... or does he mean at other events mr ass's group has talked about her dishing out the cash?

    "in reality" is a clue?

    ReplyDelete
  7. Anonymous1:05 PM

Sorry: these words and phrases seemed planted, but I don't know if they're clues or simply awkward syntax.

    "for all time"
    "bunch of money"
    "In reality"
repeated use of the word "incredible"

another clue: "no matter where in the world she is"

Nothing stood out in the Jackass post.

The only clue I can see in the Jackass story is a constant reference to "friends". David Schwimmer is supposed to be an obnoxious ass and he displayed it recently. However, is he "almost A list"? Maybe at one time, but now he's more "has been", IMO.

  10. I'm going to guess Piven for number one, simply because I knew him in Chicago, and he was an ass even back then. In fact, I think we should pick Piven for the jackass portion of every Jackass/Kindness blind - that's how much of an asshole he is.

"Well, it looked like we were in for another outburst of yelling and screaming, but everyone agreed Mr. Ass should go first. We just did not have the guts to watch it and you could tell the valet just wanted to escape the wrath of Mr. Ass."

So...here's what I'm seeing. A helluva lotta detail about how awful this guy is but yet none of you stood up to him?

Are you scared of being ego'ed to death or what? Do people in LA regularly let celebs have their own way all the time without intervening, but then complain about it on blogs?

following are maybe, possibly some clues???
    from mr jackass:
Mr. Ass lost it and his 'friends' were trying to slink away.
    'the first time'
    'to escape the wrath'

    from kindness:
    'for all time'
    'in reality'

realy not sure if any of them are actual clues or not. so lost on this one... we need pinky and jeez to sign on and help out :)

Adrienne Curry's myspace page says that she's dabbling with acting now, which could be why Ent'l describes her as an actress. She did become a star overnight from ANTM and the other reality show, the surreal life as well as her marriage to Christopher Knight (Peter of the Brady Bunch). After watching an ANTM marathon this week (Xmas break doldrums), Adrienne comes of as humble, laid back and generous (if somewhat crude). That's my case.

Sean Penn for #1? "The valet was not walking anywhere" (Dean Man Walking), also he guest starred on a few episodes of Friends ("we are not friends...")

  20. I think "flat out" might be a clue. I put it into IMdB and it came up with a 1998 movie by that title, but no one even remotely A list. Ron Jeremy was in the cast, though, which at least gave me a small chuckle....

    ReplyDelete
  21. I'm going to make Piven fit this if I have to cram it in there.

From a celeb watch on Defamer in 9/2006:

"So I've had this craving for Mastro's ever since Ari and the boys went there for a celebratory meal on Entourage. Owed a birthday dinner by my pal, I figured the time was ripe last night (9-28) to cash in on a food coma-inducing evening of lobster mashed and a 33 oz. T-bone."

I am thinking Michael Madsen for Mr. Ass Here's why:

-He does have several films coming out this year
-He was in a film called Flat Out in 1998
-He played Mr.Blonde in Reservoir Dogs
-There was a whole monolongue at the beginning of Reservoir Dogs regarding tipping and such

Adding to the Holly Hunter speculation- ENT says "It is truly incredible what she does each and everyday...", and the "incredible" stands out to me. Soo, I type The Incredibles in Google, and lo and behold, Holly Hunter was one of the voices for "The Incredibles".

I have a feeling that Jackass is David Schwimmer. I just recently read something about him having a huge head and being, well basically, an ass.

This is from the New York Post via Celebslam.

'“A sexy blond fan went over to talk to him, and he had this annoyed, very dismissive look on his face,” our spy said. “John was taking it in a good-natured way, but David had that ‘don’t-bother-me’ look.” A hostess started to intercept, but the admirer took the hint and split.'
I don't know, but that seems to make sense that he would be rude to a valet as well.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Anonymous3:21 PM

The only appropriate answer to the "don't you know who I am" speech is....Wow! How could you possibly accomplish all that and still have no manners??

    ReplyDelete
  50. Anonymous3:22 PM

Kate Winslet struck out to me as #2. The "for all time" instantly made me think of Titanic. It was the highest grossing film of all time. And the story itself gives me the "for all time" feeling too.

Jeeeze - that's some damn fine sleuthing. His blog makes him seem a bit self-important too. But what about the "kicking" clue? EL uses it not once but twice. And I'm with you Radiogirl - would totally suck the fun out of the Heroes gig.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Anonymous3:30 PM

I may be grasping at straws but the last word is "kicking" and it is also mentioned in ELs clue. He also uses the phrase "yelling and screaming." I think he may be talking about the movie "Kicking and Screaming" with Will Ferrell and Robert Duvall. I can't get anything to fit with Ferrell, but a few did with Duvall. He mentions the valet is from Mexico and Duvall has a movie coming out in 2008, "A Night in Old Mexico." He was in Apocalypse Now, and NOW is in all caps in the paragraph. Like I said, grasping, but maybe someone else can find something more, or something with Ferrell.

So, Mr Ass was ready to drive his own car after having 'drink after drink'? Stupid ass!

If this was not LA specific, I'd have a guess at Evangeline Lilly for kindness. She had very little and now she's a major star. Has 'not been in many things.' Evie is very religious and I could see her wanting to give her money away to the poor. I don't know if everyone will remember her for all time!

I say Olivia Wilde for the second one , she seems to be pretty down to earth like that

    ReplyDelete
  58. In another Chicago connection, I met David Schwimmer at a play. He'd done another play with his theatre company and we'd all thought it was terrific. I think it was called The West End. Anyhoo, the play we'd gone to see was being directed by Shira Piven (yes, same gene pool) and I walked over and told DS how terrific he was in The West End, and he was quite gracious - genuinely pleased. He'd also been on NYPD Blue, and mentioned that he was up for a role on a new show on NBC that was a sitcom. I asked him what it was called and he said "Friends." I said, "Good for you, but stupid title."

Moral of the story? Back then he was a very nice guy. Moral # 2: Don't ever ask me to name your sitcom.

    ReplyDelete

Like Kimmy, I also first thought of Kate Winslet, but EL stated that kindness "never wants to forget where she came from", Kate Winslet has never really had a hard life by any stretch of the imagination, Her family lived near Henley(U.K.),which is an extrmely upmarket and expensive place to live. I'm not knocking Kate Winslet , she genuinely seems like a nice person, but I don't think she's Kindness.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Anonymous4:50 PM

Ok, I really REALLY have to run, but here's what I think are clues for Kindness:

    for all time

    has looked in their eyes

Those are the two phrases that strike me as awkward.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Anonymous4:54 PM

as for george takei, he doesn't strike me as an ass. i know actors act and so we can't take their on screen performances as indicative of their personalities. but he guested on that show Psyche on USA. the whole point of his part was to mock him. doesn't sound like the kind of thing a real jackass would do.

as for holly hunter - hasn't she been in a lot and what is it that makes her different from other actors that she would be known for all time?

one name that popped into my head for #2 was julianna margulies. i saw her once on a plane from NYC to LA sitting in coach in the middle seat of the five seat block in the middle. in other words, the worst seat on the plane. but that's not the nice part, we've all had to deal with that. some jackass on the plane (who was flying with his wife and kids) spent the entire boarding time leaning over the two people sitting between JM and the aisle, balancing on the seats of the people in the row forward, blocking the aisle and trying to chat her up. then when the plane took off he returned until the stewardess chased him off. he waited until she went away and then went back to JM. after this happened about three times they stewardess upgraded JM to business class and when he tried to follow she told him to back off or she'd get the captain.

anyway, the point is, during this entire time she was super gracious and kind to this asshole and didn't tell him off but only ask that he not bother the other passengers.

and she's not been in much but everyone knows her from ER.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Anonymous4:59 PM

re: my post above about julianna margulies, one thing to keep in mind for #2: $30,000 per year is a lot of money, even for an actor and especially for an actor that hasn't done much. which makes me think that whoever it is, whatever she did must have paid very very well. and being on a long running TV show with lots of re-runs is a good way to get really rich without being in much.

    ReplyDelete

Kate Winslet was my first guess for Kindness. The "went from bit player to big star overnight" phrase reminded me of Titanic.

more in support of keifer sutherland: when he gets his car he says, "it's about time." 24 is all about time. then EL mentions "time" again in the next sentence not to mention lots of references to time throughout.

or it could be refering to a time travel movie.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Anonymous6:17 PM

good call on the Smokin Aces - although imdb says it came out in 2006, that doesn't appear to have been the actual release and everyone else says it comes out late this month. which would definitely qualify as having a movie coming out. so that would be Jeremy Piven.

EL also thrice mentions Mr. Ass' group of friends, aka an Entourage. (i haven't seen Entourage but it seems like the kind of show that would have lots of "do you know who i am" moments.)

piven was also a voice in Cars. the whole item is about cars.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Anonymous6:18 PM

The card could be a Jack as in Jack Bauer.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Anonymous6:33 PM

My guess is Hilary Swank, she won an Oscar for "Million Dollar Baby" and hasn't been in a huge number of films. I'm sure after her level of success she could afford these acts of kindness.
I also found this on Wikipedia.

"Swank came from humble beginnings, particularly as a child growing up in a trailer park near Lake Samish in Bellingham, Washington"

If this was your upbringing you would probaby care about the homeless more than the average actress in Hollywood.

[I was going to say] Dan Tana's is another steakhouse, and their valet is a couple blocks away (technically).

Morton's doesn't really have much of a valet, as they park the cars in the front lot.

I doubt it was the Ivy, only because I couldn't imagine them having one valet on a weekend night (that would be chaos).

    One more thing ...

This awkward phrase "We just did not have the guts to watch it" bothered me, because awkward phrasing by EL generally points to a clue, and I just couldn't make it fit Takei.

    Until now :)

Takei voiced the part of Wink, the host of "Happy Smile Super Challenge Family Wish Show" on the "Thirty Minutes Over Tokyo" episode of The Simpsons, in which the Simpson family ends up working in a fish-gutting factory in Osaka.

"The knife goes in, the guts come out ...."

"What makes it even more incredible is this story which I have heard once or twice before was a topic of conversation during the dinner with Mr. Ass."

Ok, my final vote is Mary McDonnell. She was the judge in a TV adaptation of "Twelve Angry Men", which George Takei coincidentally cites as his favorite drama (although not that particular version) so that ties the two BI's together.

Mary McDonnell lives in LA, did become huge overnight (20 years on the stage before Dances With Wolves) and also has E.R. and Battlestar Galactica residuals as a steady paycheck.

I thought Hillary Swank too because the we will know her for all time could tie into the fact that she just got a star on the walk of fame

...Even w/ Swank's past I can't see her doing that...not the kindest person.
And if it's Mary Mcdonnell we should all know her right away ("for all time") but I had no clue who she was until someone mentioned Dances w/ Wolves

    Still gunnin for Holly Hunter!

Which steakhouse is it that George Clooney goes to? I don't know why that fact sticks in my mind... but I have read more than once about his love for a certain steakhouse. No I don't think Clooney is the answer to the BI.

I would like to think Hillary Swank was a nice girl. But with the whole outting of her husband's past drug problem to get herself on the cover of Vanity Fair was not kind act. Then the whole issue with her spending the summer in Europe with her married agent/or Manager. That alone would stop me from guessing her. I think she has lost that whole humble thing. haha!

I love the guess of Piven for the Jackass. But I agree the whole Friends... Jackass... useage means something. And sadly David Schwimmer being a costant obnoxious ass makes him a contender. Yet, I doubt this was him at the steakhouse.

  92. Now that I'm addicted to this blog, I've gotta ask some of the more experienced participants ... do our guesses ever get validated by EL and/or does he ever just plain tell us who he's talking about? It's going to drive me nuts!

I think Jeremy Piven is a no-brainer for the first part which is why it's probably wrong, but he's got a movie out in a couple weeks and like others, everyone who blogs about him (and knows him) says he's an A#1 ass.

For the second part, my first thought was Jennifer Hudson. Someone who's motivated to give generously can do it in the small increments described even if they aren't earning millions a year.

But I don't know that she's been in anything before Dreamgirls that would qaulify as bit parts.

So then I got to thinking about Fantasia .... but again she's not really an actress although she was in that TV movie.

But I don't think someone we will know for all time is someone most of us had to go Google just to see who it was. It has to be a household (or tabloid) name. Oprah, of course, could be doing this but to me it would hardly be newsworthy or unexpected.

Will we ever get the real untold story from EL?

I don't think this can be Jennifer Hudson. She just became an overnight star. This blind item sounds as if the Kindness person has been handing out money for a while - I don't think Jennifer's had this kind of money to give away, till very recently. Also Jennifer lives in Chicago - the item insinuates this happens in LA.

oops, that was me as anon 6:54, i forgot to add that ENT says "Homeless people who have no idea what she does for a living, just know she is someone they can always count on for a kind word and that $5."

i think this implies that the actress is not very recognizable. most homeless people would be able to recognize holly hunter or hilary swank, and they'd definitely know who kate winslet is. the average person wouldn't know mary mcdonnell if they bumped into her on the street.

  99. i think what we need to start doing is working out what we think are clues first THEN make guesses, i think when people are making guesses earlier on it can put us all on a one track. there are hundreds of 'stars' and we all seem to just go for the ones who are mainly in the news. I think we need to expand our guesses more. the star trek one isnt bad, but since when was he A list? I also know someone who has been out with David Schwimmer and they said he was really cool, so i am not thinking it was him. I was looking at ENT's clue 'for all time' this could mean, forever or eternity possibly..... looked up eternity, didnt get anything, then thought it might have been the perfume which is advertised by Scarlett Johannson, she has done loads though so cant be her. I think ENT's clues on this one would be really obvious if we knew who it was but because its a long post its hard to see where the clues are. i think ent needs to give us more clues on this one. and on some of the old juicy ones too!

Anyone think of Laura Linney for #2? She seems nice enough. Her big break was in a movie "You Can Count on Me", which fits the clue. She was on Frasier and then in Love Actually. She's one of those faces you recognize, but not a BIG star. Lots of award mentions

Could Kindness be Sarah Jessica Parker?
    "A lovely woman"
And she will be known forever for Sex and the City, although none of her other parts were that significant until after SATC (and actually her movies since then weren't HUGE or anything).
Also, she came from humble beginnings before she was a child star- from Wiki:
"Parker was born in Nelsonville, Ohio, to Stephen Parker, a Jewish American businessman, and Barbara, who may also have Jewish ancestry.[1] Her parents divorced early on in Parker's life and her mother remarried Paul Forste, a truck driver. Parker grew up with her mother, stepfather and seven siblings."

  105. Well, I do think the homeless have a heck of a lot more to worry about that recognizing celebrities; I don't think they'd "definitely" know who any of them are.

Stupid server won't let me sign in.

Whomever asked 'what's Clooney's favorite "steak house"' it's Dan Tana's. I put steak house in quotes because it's not really a steak house per se. I was there about 8 years ago with my parents and didn't think it was all that, but I'm no one and they treated me as such ;)

On a semi-related matter, Clooney was in my building about 1 1/2 years ago, and I stalked him. Sat outside the office until he came out pretending to be all nonchalant reading a trade. Guys, he couldn't have been more gracious or handsome. He actually stopped (as we were trying to pretend we didn't care he was there) and said "Hello, ladies." I think I must have peed in my pants a little.

  108. Has anyone considered:
    Mr Ass = Jamie Fox
    Ms Kindness = Eva Longoria

I know Eva came from humble beginnings and although she's been in alot of movies most of them are B-rate and she's really only known for Desperate Houswives.

She and Jamie Fox are friends, some even rumored that they dated. That would make sense for the Blind Items since EL said it was important that the Ms Kindness story was told when they saw Mr. Ass out at dinner. It's the connection.

    Any thoughts?

OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) by Queen Elizabeth II on New Year's Eve, 1999. She became a U.S. citizen on February 11, 2005.

She has looked in their eyes...

I know no one's biting on my Adrienne Curry guess, and maybe it is unlikely, but it is based on some of the more obvious clues. The most obvious is "In reality" at the beginning of the second paragraph. The wording here is SO awkward that it must be a plant indicating that we are dealing with a reality TV personality. I'd like to see more guesses along those lines.

    The "almost A-lister" thing -

George Takei is well-regarded for his off-screen activities, having been a delegate to the DNC, a director on the board of the SoCal Rapid Transit District, chair of the council of governors of East West Players, chairman emeritus of the board of trustees of the Japanese American National Museum, and recipient of the Japanese "Order of the Rising Sun" honor - all things that raise his standing in LA social hierarchy regardless of how B or C his acting roles have been.

Also, I realized there's another clue I missed:

The valet looked to be in his mid 20's and was from Mexico. His English was poor which was going to cost him in a few minutes.

George Takei will be appearing in "Heroes". In the series, time-travelling Hiro Nakamura is frustrated in his attempts to warn artist Isaac Mendez of a threat to his life because Hiro's English is very poor.

Takei will play Hiro's father in the series.

As much as it pains me to think it, has anyone considered Eric Stoltz? Is he considered A list? He was in movies titled INSIDE, HELLO, and in an episode of Will & Grace called FRIENDS with Benefits and in a series called Once and Again. He was also in movies called KEYS to Tulsa, Happy Hour, Kicking and SCREAMING, and MR. Jealousy???

Although he does not have any movies coming out soon, he is producing two movies coming out in 2008. Just a guess.

Anon 4:54 guessed Julianna M from ER.

"went from bit player to big star overnight"

    I don't know if it's her,but the
    clue above fits. Nurse Hathaway
was supposed to die in the first episode. She was liked by the
audience and came back for a 6 year run.

    But..she didn't have a rough
background. Went to a 7 sisters
school and Dad was big in the ad
    game.

The "for all time" thing keeps
that song "Because you loved meeee"
by Celine Deon in my head. Ew! But
it was the theme from a Michelle
    Phifer/Pfifer/Barney Fifer movie.

    Piven's show entourage is about
    a group of friends..I vote it's
    him for #1.

  119. OK, I've been pondering this as I wandered around my other blog addictions, and I think Eva Longoria is our "Kindness".

There are some photo connections to her with Jeremy Piven going back to 2005 ... coming out of a restaurant together, he did the bunny ears behind her head during the red carpet walk at one of the award shows (in good fun like old friends) ....

    I'm going with that.

So DOES our favorite entertainment lawyer ever tell us if we're right?

    ReplyDelete
  120. Anonymous6:08 AM

Don't think it is Eva Longoria. From Defamer Nov 2005:
Thanksgiving came early for one lucky parking attendant near the Toluca Lake Koo Koo Roo today, when a Desperate Housewives cast member went out of her way to make sure he was mindful of the holiday season:

While picking up Koo Koo Roo mashed potatoes today I witnessed a fine example of Los Angeles kindness.
A woman who short-changed the parking attending by only giving him half of the required two dollars to leave the lot, yelled at him. (This was happening while she was trying to navigate her SUV and talk on the cell phone):

Attendant: "You only gave me a dollar?"

Shrew: "Jesus! It's Thanksgiving. Be nice. FUCK!"

    And she drove off.

Yes. I swear it was... I kid you not...

    Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria.

  123. OK, so today I went to see Dreamgirls, and I know I have already made a pitch for Jennifer Hudson as "Kindness" ..... but here's the kicker:

We're watching the movie and when Eddie Murphy comes on, my daughter says "I can't help it, everytime I hear him talk I just think of Donkey (from Shrek)".

And I'm thinking donkey ... ass .... Mr. Ass ..... so I come back to the BI, and I see EL uses the phrase "far away" ... and Eddie was in "Far Far Away Idol" at the end of Shrek, which of course was a take-off on American Idol, that Jennifer Hudson was in ....

Coincidence? Maybe ... or maybe this is Jackass and Kindness????

Admitedly, I couldn't figure out how it fits with his clue a few days later, but ...... ya think?

Changing my vote on this -

While I was at the vet today with my 165 pound dog, I leafed through some old tabloids and a phrase jumped up and slapped me about the head ...

"No matter where in the world she is ..."

The "Lovely" Sarah Jessica Parker has the NY Times delivered to her each morning, no matter where in the world she is.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Do the clues not fit Zelwegger?

She's got quite the reputation for doing random things. I know when she spent a few months in my city, she would go out to a restaurant every night and order take out, and then deliver to the homeless guy near her hotel. The paper ran a story on it because she did it so often.

This just seems like something she'd do, and it would fit the Jerry Maguire fame - and subsequent disappearance (the years the middle may muddle this theory).

Plus I've never heard a single person I know who's worked with her on set say anything other than super nice things about her.
