Blind Item #8
A big financial backer is sticking with a movie that is probably destine for failure after a huge casting change. The reason? He is hoping to sleep with this foreign born former A list tween/teen actress who all of you know. She is probably B+ list at this point and just replaced an almost A+ lister who knew the script was garbage.
Is this The Manson Movie?
ReplyDeleteEmma Waatson?
ReplyDeleteWho is the financial backer?
ReplyDeleteEmma Watson replacing Emma Stone?
ReplyDeleteReplacing Emma Stone in Greta Gerwig's Little Women
ReplyDeletehttps://www.empireonline.com/people/emma-watson/emma-watson-replaces-emma-stone-little-women/
Not to mention, it has Meryl Streep in it so you know filming will be a blast...
ReplyDeleteEmma take what she can Watson.
ReplyDeleteI like Emma Stone and I trust her judgement with the script. She can afford to be choosy and seems to have the intelligence to do that.
Insert wand joke here.😎

ReplyDeleteZoinks!
DeleteThat explains a lot.
Such a pig.
Deleteaccio dignity
ReplyDeleteSince Heather referred to Mayer as a wonder worm on another post we can stick with the theme and call this backer a brazen basilisk?
More likely, Emma Stone's people convinced her that she should be choosing more front and center roles, not ones where she'll get lost among all the big names.
ReplyDeleteBesides, Emma Watson is more of an audience draw (the audience they're looking for anyway).
I think I saw a preview for another LW a few weeks ago. I love me some Lea Thompson, but the film looked dreadful.
ReplyDeleteemma watson can't act...she's stiff as cardboard when it comes to acting
ReplyDeleteGood luck with trying to get watson to couch, she already has fortune and fame.
ReplyDeleteBad news. Even Oscar winners have to hit the couch. No matter how much money she has, she's gotta play by the unwritten rules of Hollywood unless she produces the movie herself (Rule 1. Producers shall have first digs on leading actresses)
DeleteCan’t stand Emma Stone. So over-rated & full of herself. And that fucking lisp.Didn’t deserve the Oscar for LaLaLand, but the last straw was when she threw Warren Beattie under the bus after the envelope mix-up. Who the fuck does she think she is?
ReplyDelete+1000 And the relationship with Edgy Justin Theroux.

ReplyDeleteAn absurd idea. They might as well 'remake' Star Wars or Gone with the Wind.
The 1994 "Little Women" is a masterpiece. Winona Ryder IS Jo March, period, end of dicussion.
She should have won the Oscar; at least she was nominated.
Susan Sarandon, Kirsten Dunst, Christian Bale, Claire Danes, Gabriel Byrne... immaculate casting, immaculate script.
Don't bother. Just don't.
If you have any doubt watch the woods scene where Jo turns down Laurie, or the book burning scene with Ryder and Dunst.
Seriously. Save your money, producers.
They remake everything since there are no real writers in Hollywood anymore.
DeleteI love Enty's subtle disdain for Emma Watson.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I was just thinking they should have stuck with the 1933 version. Kate Hepburn as Jo was perfection.
ReplyDeleteLittle women isnt gwtw or star wars... it’s already been remade a zillion times.
ReplyDeleteWith the 1933 version being the best thus far.
Emma seems like a good fit for a little women movie
I don't get the hate for Emma Watson on this site.
ReplyDeleteSeriously. Emma may not be the best actress, but she's hardly the worst. She's been practically blacklisted for being "difficult" which we know translates to "Not willing to put up with sexual harassment".
ReplyDeleteI think she's a good fit for Little Women. Just like the young die hard Winona fans who helped make the last one a hit, she'll bring her set of die hards to this one.
I'm happy for her.
I mean Emma Watson of course.
DeleteThat backer has the wrong equipment if this is about Emma. Never knew until a couple years ago how popular Hermione (character) was with some communities.
ReplyDeleteBut on the whole, eh. I usually avoid movies with either Emma, neither one brings much to the table that other actresses couldn't do better.
ReplyDeleteLEAVE HERMIONE ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBoth of these actresses only ever play themselves. Emma Watson's reserved personality is more suited to a frock drama. Emma Stone was smart to abandon this role since it would have revealed her limited range.
ReplyDeleteI have trouble believing that Greta Gerwig is ok with an awful script.
ReplyDelete@Brayson You're suggesting that because lesbians like Hermione, Emma Watson must BE one? Preposterous.
ReplyDeleteI fucking HATE Hermoine WITH A PASSION.
DeleteShe was such an asshole to Luna Lovegood and Professor Trelawney. Now THOSE TWO are my heroes. 🖤
@Sarah,making it work -
ReplyDelete"She's been practically blacklisted for being "difficult" which we know translates to "Not willing to put up with sexual harassment".
Oh, I think she's been willingly (((Weinsteined))) once or twice.
I didn't even know there was a Little Women with Winona Ryder. I can't imagine Jo as anyone other than Katharine Hepburn.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteemma stone knowingly worked with a pedo
@ Scandi Sanskrit
ReplyDeletethe pedos in WB had emma shoot scenes that were never used
Hermoine using a wand as an anal dildo
harry and ron walk in and catch her etc
did you know Luna is irish ?
If it fails it will be because Louisa May Alcott is now 'racist', not because of a casting change.
ReplyDeleteDoes Emma Watson still cry during sex? That is so hot. I imagine hammering the puss in mish and licking the tears from her face.
ReplyDelete@CountJerkula
ReplyDeleteOnly in the casting couch.
BackRoomCastingCouch or FakeAgent?
ReplyDeleteI love the split screen anal on BRCC. The way some of them whores wince and writhe while earning the hard way makes Russian whores acting near oblivious to coke can cock demolishing their fart box that much more amazing.
