Blind Item #15

This former A+/A list singer is burning through money at a rapid rate. So, why not do what she did back in the day and go on tour. The thing is though, this is not back in the day. She should have taken the residency offer she got, but she thinks it is beneath her.

  1. This has to be Lady Gaga.

    1. Not true. Gaga actually signed the contract for the residency but posponed it because she wasn’t feeling well and she’s worth hundreds of millions.. she isn’t hurting for money.

  2. I can see this being Xtina since she has a history of brittney hatred.

  3. Yup, Lauryn Hill. She's been touring non stop for the last five years.

  5. Madonna? Mariah Carey?

  6. Sounds like christina, yes she announced a tour @marlin that's what this blind is suggesting. It's basically saying she is going on tour instead of doing a residency

    1. It’s definitely a Christina. And my first thought was there’s no way she’s going to do well in ticket sales. When she was closer to her heyday she canceled a tour because it didn’t sell well.

  7. Definitely Xtina as she is going on tour. This is a prediction that her tour is not going to go well and she should have taken the residency.

I don't think she's going to sell as many tickets as she thinks she should.

  8. [Gaga's] worth hundreds of millions

    Yeah... Me too. #LOL

  9. Probably Xtina, if so she really should have grabbed that sweet sweet residency money, the next offer won't be as big.

  10. Bad decision, Christina doing a loungey, cabaret-esque residency is something I’d pay to see. Britney or JLo lip syncing, not so much.

  11. I agree with Xtina guesses. She is playing much smaller venues this time around. 3,500 capacity venues as opposed to 16,000 seat arenas back in the day.

    1. Well when you disappear for 6 years, especially in these times, for a pop artist is suicidal. I don't know but christina is in the same label that kelly clarckson used to be right? Rca? According to kelly that label is a mess and clive davis an asshole so to be surronded by other people telling you what to do must be a living hell. In the 80's Clive davis didn't signed the punk band romeo void because the lead female singer wasn't attractive. Fucking asshole. So thats why I feel sorry for these females singers

  15. Is Hailee Steinfeld also a yachter?

  16. You leave Hailee Steinfeld alone yep, she's a good girl! ;)

  17. @Brayson87, since you are a regular here i assume you would know if there were any BI about her yachting duties! And to clarify i was also hoping that its not true!

  18. Christina.
She's touring for the first time in forever and has a song called 'Back in the Day'.

She'd actually be great fit for Vegas, but then it would lead to those Britney-comparisons she hates so much.

  20. I don't think Christina's comeback is going anywhere. Apparently she just released a new song with a very raunchy music video. I neither listened to the song nor did I watch the video, but from what I've read she barely sings on the track; just moans and sighs, and in the video she's covered in oil and simulating oral sex or whatever. WTH? Who does she think wants to see that 15+ years after 'Dirrty'? Kids today don't even know who she is, her fans from back in the day have long grown-up (as should she). She should rely on her amazing voice and SING instead of desperately trying to appeal to a shallow young audience.

  21. It's super strange because unlike Mariah & Britney, Christina can actually sing live and really belt it out. I find her lack of traction a bit confusing.

  22. What a girl wants is validation she’s still relevant. What a girl needs is the atm that is a vegas residency.

  23. No one would offer Lauryn Hill a residency. If it started in January, she might get onstage by May.

  24. Christina's video is disgusting. I would rather watch a porno.

  25. Christina is playing the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, it has a capacity of 5800. That seems about right for where she is in her career now, so it doesn't sound like she's over reaching or anything.

  26. Cher just announced an Australian tour

  27. The teens these days don't even know who Christina A is. I'm not sure she has enough of an adult fanbase to fill a big venue. I'm not for or against her because I don't know her, but I don't see how she is relevant anymore.

  28. Christina Aguilera is a has been nobody cares about her anymore. Her last few records are flops. A tour would help her garner public interest. Brtiney Spears broke a huge barrier for pop stars when she did a Las Vegas residency. She made millions of dollars and it was very successful.

  29. I don't know why so many people are guessing Madonna. Her tours are consistently huge grossers. She's worth almost a billion dollars and isn't known for being needlessly extravagant. She will never have financial problems, and even if she somehow did, she could sell a few paintings and make as much as she would on a tour. It ain't her.

  30. I don't think Christina would pass up a Vegas residency... Seems right up her alley.

  31. Tina Turner. She has admitted in the past the she goes on tour for the money and it's been a long while since her farewell tour.

  32. I just heard an interview with Tina Turner a couple of weeks ago, she's promoting the musical based on her life. She is quite happy being retired and plans to go right back to that after her promotional duties are done.

  33. Who is managing xtina? her new song is awful, still trying to be a teen act when 30+ when her quality pipes should be doing adele ballards. Get to vegas pronto.

  34. "Gaga is worth hundreds of millions..." LOL

I'd be surprised if she has a net worth of $25M.
