There's still a difference between "I heard and I'm confident it's true" and evidence that is proper to bring to the police -- or, indeed, evidence the police will actually listen to and then take action on.
Which leads to a question for us to ponder: Before anybody scolds Enty for not alerting the authorities, how do you know he didn't? How do you know that he isn't posting because he knows the cops can't do anything yet, and adding some public pressure might help?

If Kathy Griffin knew something she wld do/ say something. She wrote about her brothr in her book, and while she was sad about him, it was cystal clear she had zero tolorance fir his axtions. Btw, good quick read.

Read on another site that the police had been investigating Stephen Collins statements for two years but couldn't tie it to a specific victim or incident so they didn't press charges at the time. Now there is more evidence to charge him with a crime.
During last night's SVU, I kept thinking that Dan Schneider's actions must be an open secret in Hollywood because the entire episode was basically about him.
@auntliddy: I just listened to Kathy G's episode on WTF w/ Marc Maron yesterday where she spoke about her dead pedophile brother. She also revealed that she was molested by one of his friends when she was younger... Love me some Kathy Griffin. Haven't read her book(s?) yet though... might have to download on the kindle!

I couldn't agree more! If you're just going to come & complain about the site/stories, then don't read the site! If I see a Real Housewives story, I skip it, because I don't watch it or care about it. What I DON'T do is go into the comments & slam Enty (the provider of this mostly fun entertainment, who most assuredly is not a lawyer based on grammar & sentence structure, but who cares?) or say he/she shouldn't write about things in which I have no interest.
Unfortunatelly the WTF episode with Kathy G was recorded a few weeks earlier, so no comments on Joan Rivers, or Collins during the episode...
I listened to that, too. I like hearing people on those podcasts talking about real life - it gives us a brief glimpse into the real lives of celebrities.
I don't want to guess on who Jack M might be (because A: gross and B: I don't have the first fuckin' clue) but I will say that Kathy's book is quite good. It's certainly not a laugh riot like her stand-up is, but it is very honest and interesting.
On a side note, Kathy Griffin has some serious longevity in her family line. Her father lived to be 90 and her mother is still alive at 94.

Jack can be short for JOHN a lot of times, so if she was wanting to speak about it but not be super obvious, she could've said Jack.
If that's the case....I immediately thought of John Malkovich.

@TV Junkie: I'm a bit obsessed with podcasts by comedians... A great way to drown out disney channel in the background when making dinner or folding laundry! Love to hear about every day life through their often cynical but always humourous point of view. Life is tough in general & being a mom of 3 is chaotic. If I'm having a rough afternoon & start to feel too overwhelmed, I put on my earbuds for a quick laugh. I subscribe to about 20, and just pick & choose which to listen to depending on the guests.
I am the same! My favorites are WTF, Greg Fitzsimmons & Bill Burr. The Off The Air podcast gets some good comedians, too!
I agree with Carrie that Jack is often John. I would also point out that there is no reference to acting. John M could very well be a sports figure, politician etc.

What's disgusting is Kathy knows of a child molester out there and is keeping her mouth shut? This means the molester is destroying the lives of more young children, while Kathy just sits by with full knowledge. It is her duty to tell someone. If she wants to stay anonymous, I don't care. At least tip off the cops as to who it is.
A friend recently worked with Jack McBrayer on a project. She got a very sweet handwritten thank you note a few days later. Says he was a class act.

crila, how do you know that Kathy or someone else hasn't told the authorities? Or if she knows of someone who has chosen not to report? The police have had the Stephen Collins tape since 2012 and nothing has happened to him.

Actually my first thought was that there was a character named Jack (the boss) on Suddenly Susan with her, and that it would be her way of saying it without saying it, if she referred to someone by a character name, but that character had a last name starting with R.
(I am purposely not saying either actor's name because I don't want to "accuse" either person of exposing themselves or of being a pedophile.)
