Jan Hooks Has Died

Jan Hooks, an actress whose flair for comedy and ability to inhabit a character was showcased during her five years on “Saturday Night Live,” died on Thursday. She was 57. I hope she had a party in heaven last night with Phil Hartman.

SusanB said...: I remember watching her on an old Atlanta TV station show (TBS?) with a guy named Bill Tush - as I recall it was kind of like SNL only based in Atlanta. She was funny as hell on that - and she was great on SNL and 3rd Rock. I can't find anything about a family though - was she married? Relationship? She'll be missed.; 6:06 AM

I used to love that show- I'd watch when I was babysitting and when Jan Hooks started appearing on SNL, I remember looking forward to watching because I liked her on Tush. Also Bonnie and Terry Turner were writers/producers on it and they went on to do very well too.; 8:08 AM
