Blind Item #4
These former co-stars from a very hit Fox drama from back in the day hate each other. It turns out that the person with the biggest name recognition on the show was writing a book and asked the ex-wife of her former co-star for details on all the times he cheated so she could include it. The ex-wife said no and told her ex who blasted his former co-star.
X-Files?
ReplyDeleteI thought Mulder & Scully have been on & off on the down low despite having significant others. Doesn't sound like those two co-stars hate each other.
Deletesomeone from Party of 5? Can't be bothered to work out who if anyone.
ReplyDeleteSo Calista Flockhart, aka Ally McBeal, is writing her memoirs. Wonder who the co-star was.
ReplyDeleteAll those 90210 people seem to have written books. Jason Priestley's new memoir, Tori's 5 books about being a good mom and "having it all" *yeah ok...*, Shannon Doherty's guide to having no friends and alienating people...
ReplyDelete90210 my first thought too. Maybe one of the chicks went to Dylan's (Jason ______, not Priestly) ex.
DeleteProb stupid, heartless, self serving Doherty.
IMHO.
or Melrose Place?
ReplyDeleteOh, here we go. Flockhart's Ally McBeal co-star, Andrew Shue was married 1994-2010, so he was married during the show but would presumably have a freshly angry ex-wife. Case closed.
ReplyDeleteCalista Flockhart and

Andrew Shue not on ally Mcbeal. It's RDJ
ReplyDelete@Simon, the entire premise of Ally McBeal was built around Shue. Ally and his character, Billy, were childhood sweethearts, until he went on to marry someone else and they all worked together at the same law firm. Check your Wikipedia.
DeleteBuilt around a Billy but not the same one from Melrose Place. Shue. He was a brunette who was dating Courtney Thorne Smith. That's why your confused. Courtney left mp. For amb.
DeleteI am thinking Christina Applegate and ed of neil
but why would Calista be writing a book? it's usually only the desperate for money ones who stoop to book writing. And Harry/Steve is presumably not short of a penny or two.
ReplyDeleteAlso, folks, if its RDJ, then Calista is not the person who has 'the biggest name recognition on the show.' I suppose it could be Jon Bon Jovi, who also starred on the show for awhile, but I think he outranks Calista too in the name stakes. It's Shue.
ReplyDeleteAnd the best thing is, I never even watched the bloody show! Just trying to avoid work today.

ReplyDelete@ Nutty_Flavor Ally McBeal's Billy Thomas was played by Gil Bellows. Andrew Shue played Billy Campbell on Melrose Place.
ReplyDeleteGillian is very private. She hates to talk about her private life. And I have never heard her say an unkind word about anyone.
ReplyDeleteAndrew Shue was not on Ally McBeal. Gil Bellows played Billy Thomas on Ally McBeal. Andrew Shue played Billy Campbell on Melrose Place.
ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely right - apologies! Like I said, I never watched the show.
ReplyDelete@Nutty randomness but I just heart your replies to this post. You had me convinced at the "Check your Wikipedia!" throw down. And then humbled at your admittance that you have never seen the show. I'm not mocking you at all, at this point I was cracking up. A+
DeleteI'm with you riven, very used, though at the "check your wiki" but I thought "oh no girlfriend, I don't have to, I KNOW my Billy Campbell from my Billy Thomas, mmhmm..."
DeleteI can't see this be Gillian Anderson at all. Besides, aren't Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny supposedly a thing?
ReplyDeleteNot to mention Duchovny was the much bigger of the two which doesn't fit blind.
DeleteExactly. Having said that I have no idea who it could be.
DeleteYeah it's not the X-Files, if anything Gillian and David are seeing each other on the down low.
ReplyDeleteIs Ally McBeal considered a drama? I always thought of it as a comedy. I guess it was a "dramedy"? Hell, it's been way too long.
ReplyDeleteGreta Van Sustern and Bill O'Reilly
ReplyDeleteNailed. It.
I thought about Married With Children too but it's not a drama. The fact that the woman writing the book is the most well know is what's throwing me off. I wanted to make 21 Jump Street work with Holly Robinson Peete, Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis but it just doesn't fit.
ReplyDeleteTori Spelling. Jason Priestly said she even sold his wedding invitation.
ReplyDeleteI just wasted some time looking up ally mcb on wiki with a shue tie in. I was all like whaat? I should've read the comments. I loved the first three seasons of that show.
ReplyDeleteI really want to read that Jason Priestly book. Good, mindless reading for the beach :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not Mulder and Scully. They are besties and have an awesome Reddit AMA with a pic of them on a bed.
ReplyDeleteHow about Angel and Buffy? Though I can't see SMG being that polite...
One Tree Hill people!
ReplyDeleteBuffy may have been produced by 20th Century Fox but it aired on the WB so it wouldn't be called a Fox show. One Tree Hill was definitely WB or UPB or whatever it is now (CW??).

ReplyDeleteThis is the list of Fox dramas (Wiki, of course): Former Fox Dramas
ReplyDeleteParty of Five, House <3, Melrose Place, BH90210, The OC all have the run times to be called very hit from back in the day.
This would be awesome if it was Shannen Doherty and Brandon Walsh! Or Brenda and Dylan!
Jennifer Love Hewitt & Jeremy London from Party Of Five.....
ReplyDeleteThat gets my vote too rolotomassi.
DeleteTori Spelling
ReplyDeleteex-wife Nicky Ziering, former husband of Ian... Steve Sanders!
I say Heather Locklear and Jack Wagner and for evidence I offer, oh hey, look over there!
