Blind Item #1 - Kindness

This A- list mostly television comic actress and infrequent big show host gave up her first class seat on an LA to NYC flight and sat back in coach so a woman with a lap child could enjoy the extra room. Our actress chatted in the back and took photos and even bought food for people.

And chatting with the folks in the back and taking pictures/ buying food is exactly what Ellen did at the Oscars.

Is it like a lap dog, only more.... human?

    4. Any kid under two has to be strapped to your lap

    5. Cocoa, can we call kids "lap humans" now?

    6. It's like wrestling a seal for four hours

    7. Flying with a child under the age of two is free as long as they are sitting in your lap.

    8. It is almost EXACTLY like wrestling a seal, punningtons, but with more poop. And noisier

Kristin, only if they're strapped to one's lap.

      @punningtons Free seal wrestling!

  7. Well it's presumably Poehler or Fey - but as even I know both of them as being super famous, they must be A list rather than A-.

  8. ellen is a great guess and fits with the "big show" clue.

tina fey was the first name to come to my mind, though. either way, good karma for the actress.

  9. Its the usual thing Violet, no matter how multi talented women in Hollywood are, if they can't open a hit movie, they're lesser then...any guy who can. No matter how one note their performances are..:-\

  10. So a woman booked a ticket in First Class with a lap child? That doesn't happen very often.

    1. Just Crazy, the woman booked coach with her child and the star switched with her...
I'm surprised they let a small child into First Class. From my middle seat in coach, I thought they were more stringent.
I have many jealous fantasies about what goes on in First Class :-D

    2. I'm picturing Steamy approaching the curtain like Oliver Twist going up to ask for more gruel.

    3. @ Charlie, you be right :-D

  11. Oh shoot, forgot to guess...
Its either Amy or Tina since each live on opposite coasts, I can see business and pleasure taking them cross country.
Ellen, hasn't been a comic actress in years and is based in L A where she tapes a show daily, can't see her jetting off easily.

    I love stories like this!

  13. It's either Amy or Tina. I'll go with Amy since she has a show currently on the air (season finale last week but they're back in the Fall). If it was Tina, even with all the stuff she has in the works, I feel like there would be an indication in the blind that she doesn't have a current on-air show.

  14. Charlie in the Franco post I had some ideas for a selfie.

They are actually called Laps when they do the count on the plane.

Amy Pohler. I think Tina has got to be A with all her Emmy's

  16. Take your pick: Ellen, Tina or Amy.

  17. Yup, Amy, Tina or Ellen, and I'm fine with any of them.

  18. Tina and/or Amy A-? Oh, chicken...

    ReplyDelete
  19. Amy is more likely to chat and take pics with people. It could be Tina though. No way is it Ellen.

  20. Ellen wouldn't be described as a comedic actress most likely because of her talk show.

Tina or Amy because of the GG. My guess is Tina.

  21. I guess Amy b/c she's a mother and sympathetic to another mothers needs. (Unless Tina is a mom too, then I'll have to guess it was Betty White)

  22. Uhhh...What exactly is a "lap child"?! Lol. Seriously.

It means you didn't buy them a seat. You can take a child up to age two onboard without purchasing their own seat.
