I graduated high school with the man that wrote Beautiful. I hope he wins :)

I went to HS with Sutton Foster, not that she needs anything else for her mantle, but I always hope she wins

Vera L was Sutton kick as even then?
I have to say I am pleased they gave noms to the vets of the Great White Way rather than kowtowing to "celebrity". That is perfect.

Guido enjoy trip.

I would love to see the LBJ play and Estelle Parsons.

I saw the opening night of All The Way at the American Repertory Theatre last fall (thanks to my friend Julia!); it was a decent play, but Bryan Cranston was damn good in it, so I'm going to be personally prejudiced and hope he wins. :-) Oh, and getting to shake Walter White's hand at the after-show wingding wasn't bad, either... ;-) (FWIW, he's very handsome in person!)

I will forever mourn that I can't fly to NYC and see Chris O'Dowd.

Heeey, Ray! <3 Haha, Franco was shut out!

Seven, we have to talk. We both love us some Chris O'Dowd. So it came up a couple of times about the IT Crowd, so I found it on Netflix and...

it was awful. So bad. I didn't know an old tv show could make me find someone LESS attractive in their current incarnation, but it was just terrible enough to do it.

I hope you understand, but I get it if you wanna give back the BFF necklace.

Peace

TTM

@TTM, I'm a geek, that's probably why I love it so much. Well, that and I love hearing Chris talk. And Moss, I <3 Moss. Different strokes, eh?

Keep that necklace on! :D

Poor Michelle Williams, I had hoped Cabaret would've been a big hit. But Menzel, Foster and the perennially overdue O'Hara are always great.

Doogie Stinson will win, the whole anti-hetero thing is a shoe in when it comes to awards. How else do you explain Horseface Swank getting two Oscars?

BeckyMae said...

Oh I love the IT Crowd! Noel Fielding as a vampire was my fave....it's a particularly British humour and pretty geeky...

BeckyMae said...

Plus Richard Ayoade is a comic genius....the Might Boosh and Garth Marenghi's Darkplace and two of my all time faves...

BeckyMae said...

Mighty!! Damn spellchk

Seven of Eleven said...

@BeckyMae, Electric Moccasins :D

BeckyMae said...

Ohhh Richard, Noel and Ruth Jones! *swoon*

I know he's so pudgy and posit it but Noël will forever have a place in my nether-regions....

I'm STUNNED that you didn't like it, @TTM. Not sure what to say. Just so sad for you, kinda wanna give you a hug.

Guys, it has a laugh track!! And the first episode is Chris O'Dowd looking like he totally smells like ass! I only watched 2, does it, does it get a lot better?

Thanks for understanding, Seven

Seven of Eleven said...

@TTM, it does get better, but if it's not your type of humour, it won't. There's a dorkily funny storyline about a new CEO who is a complete wad. I won't spoil it for you. ;)

I despise laugh tracks, they're an unnecessary evil that we still have to put up with sometimes. Fun fact: laugh tracks came about in the early age of television when people needed cueing to know which lines were the funny ones - they were trying to mimic the audience interaction of comedy clubs (if other people laugh, you will, too) and not have to rely on the unreliability of live audiences.
