I LOVE Melissa McCarthy, but would it kill her to wear a COLOUR??

sandybrook said...

Matt Damon FTW!

Erik said...

HAHA, JLD.

sandybrook said...

Anonymous said...

Oh shite. Michael Douglas?

love/hate said...

Or be funny? Not feeling this Matt Damon thing.

TalksTooMuch said...

IDRIS! !

Seriously, Michael Douglas was fantastic in Behind The Candlabra, that would have been an easy role to over-play, he was spot on

Kristin Wigs said...

Michael Douglas, also, looks like he was carved out of cheese.

Steampunk Jazz said...

Douglas winning was a slight oddity, amarite?

sandybrook said...

Sugar had pot but she seems to have disappeared. :(

keeshlo said...

He may be a nympho a hole but MD deserved it!!!!! He was great! As were Matt Daemons golden globes!!! NICE!

Sugar said...

And bam! Just like that I reappear!

sandybrook said...

He has throat cancer given to him by eating CZJ out @Kristin be kind!

Fandancer said...

Boob tape fail; I caught it too, haha.

sandybrook said...

Pass it!

Not A Ninny said...

I'm the only person who thought that Behind the Candelabra was showy but shallow.

The GG press room must be drunk as well 'cuz all the media winner listings are running way behind the actual awards.

Laura said...

Lol @Sugar. I liked that MD thanked Catherine.

Erik said...

It wasn't from cunnilingus. And even if it was, won't stop me...

Kristin Wigs said...

@Sandybrook Throat cancer makes you look like a block of Muenster?

Fandancer said...

Did someone ask this upthread? Sorry to repeat but WHO is the trench coated broad in Yoko Ono sunglasses at the American Hustle table up front ???

Count Jerkula said...

@Diva: I saw the side view of her chicken cutlet, is that what you mean?

Sugar said...

Hey Sandy what's the shortest word in the dictionary? Ere! That joke don't work so good in writing.

Erik said...

Hello, Emma.

love/hate said...

I can't see the Jimmy Fallon previews without thinking fondly of Conan. And how much I don't like Jay.

Orvilla Bedinbacher said...

Man, I hope Captain Kirk was laughing at Emma

sandybrook said...

I dunno never had it Kristin but I like to eat out :)

Kristin Wigs said...

@Fandancer I asked, no response. She is an enigma. A projection of our childhood hopes and dreams. Masked in shades of inadequacy.

OHH CHRIS PINE'S GIANT HEAD!!

(PS Think it's Cooper's mom?)

sandybrook said...

I think its a @Sugar

TalksTooMuch said...

keeshlo said...

Rob Lowe doesn't like Amy?

Orvilla Bedinbacher said...

I second Jason!

JSierra said...

Aww Amy is the only one who I believe is genuinely surprised at her win.

Jessica Lange wowweee!!

I am so tired of these Labor Day commercials!

Steampunk Jazz said...

Jeeze

sandybrook said...

Kristin Wigs said...

Anyone notice how Blanchett is, like, receiving people like royalty?

Poehler has carried Parks on her back for six seasons to make that show a moderate success. Other than Nick Offerman, she's gotten almost no help from the rest of her cast.

Sugar said...

Sandy it's a lame-o stoner joke about passing the joint. Inhale deeply and try to say 'here'. Joke is stoopid.

Anonymous said...

I love that Julia Louis Dreyfuss is easily richer than two or three tables full of those people combined (she's from an extremely wealthy family); yet she always seems so down-to-earth, funny and friendly.

Orvilla Bedinbacher said...

JSierra agree with the Labor Day trailer. 'I want it to go away" not Stay

Blake said...

Amy can get it too. Poehler and Adams. At the same time.

In under two minutes.

sandybrook said...

Ok

Not A Ninny said...

"Pay attention NBC - you better not cancel Parks & Rec now."

CDAN said that Parks & Rec was already cancelled...oh wait, they just aired a new episode this week. Retraction, ghosties?

Kristin Wigs said...

@Stepforded Is JLD, like Erin Comrie rich?

Orvilla Bedinbacher said...

Okay, I really can't type at this level of drink. I think I'm entering J Bisset realm.

Anonymous said...

I just had to reboot and when I logged back in, I noticed the footer - first paragraph - on this site is bigger than usual. Weird ...

Not A Ninny said...

JLD isn't as rich as people think she is. She's a long way from inheriting her share of the Dreyfus money.

Anonymous said...

Emma! WTF are you wearing? You look as if you're off to Snday lunch, not an awards ceremony ... :-/

Buddy Bones Smith said...

If I were Amy I would stay on Bono's lap and accept my award from there. It would take a SWAT team to get me off his lap. Yup, still 1987 over here....

JSierra said...

Emma please eat something!
Leo looks so focused on the show, kind of how I look when people are talking to me and I really don't care about anything they have to say.

keeshlo said...

That Emma Stone dress is fug fug fug

Anonymous said...

Oh unfortunate Emma Stone. Leo is eyeing you, wondering how quickly he can get you back to his place.

Erik said...

Julia Louis-Dreyfus's dad is worth over $3 billion.

Sugar said...

Yay to Emma Stones red hair!

sandybrook said...

Woody Allen is there?

Steampunk Jazz said...

Woody? Really?

Anonymous said...

Mia Farrow didn't get a chance to veto appearing in any clips for a Woody Allen tribute?

Erik said...

Ew, Woody Allen.

JSierra said...

Meh I really can't get behind all this Woody Allen love knowing he was fucking his daughter while still married to her mother.

TalksTooMuch said...

NEW POST, GUYS!! Come on over!

Kristin Wigs said...

Did anyone catch the Taylor Swift dig? Something about Tina saying "special place in hell?" I missed it.

Not A Ninny said...

"Julia Louis-Dreyfus's dad is worth over $3 billion."

That's a 3x overestimation of his share of the Dreyfus fortune, plus he's got multiple kids, etc. JLD herself isn't that rich. Seinfeld is the really rich one.

Steampunk Jazz said...

God Diane Keaton looks good but did she have to wear the AH look too?

Count Jerkula said...

Thank you lord for letting Amy Poehler win so we didn't have to see Dunham oinking on stage.

love/hate said...

Diane totally has my grandma's haircut.

sandybrook said...

Didn't see a new list @TTM just this

timebob said...

@Kristen Taylor Swift said there was a special place in hell when woman don't support women. Becuase Amy & Tina goofed on her at the last GG for her men problems (it was totally harmless) and she got all butt hurt over it.

Tina was just alluding to that joke and the fact Amy won and Tina lost or wasn't nominated (wasn't really paying attention) if she was or wasn't and congratulated her.

Love that Taylor was in the audience too.

Jason Blue Eyes said...

It's just as well that Woody isn't there tonight. He'd just spend all evening hitting on Jennifer Lawrence.

Jason Blue Eyes said...

Count Jerkula said...

Sandybrook has bigger nuts than me. I chickened out of calling Dunham a pig.

timebob said...

These people will thank anyone if they think for one moment it will give them a chance at an Oscar one day regardless of how despicable the person might be in their personal lives.

Not A Ninny said...

Somewhere Lena Dunham's writers are downing shots in celebration that she didn't win.

Steampunk Jazz said...

There's a new post to get on. We're too big. CMON!

auntliddy said...

Step, yeah, he's wearing that scarf thingy like for 25 years now. Mb its good luck or something.

auntliddy said...

I think that was the joke.
