DeleteI have never worked "in" the biz, but more tangentially, for people in it, but the friends I have from then, some knew her and told me this, maybe 9-10 yrs ago? I honestly got her mixed up with all the other young blonde actresses that had cropped up in the late 90s-early 2000s, forever. I heard that story more than once, though. No idea if its true, but if Zac Ephron is sober in those DM pics, then I'm Kate Upton. He looks baaaked.

ReplyDeleteThis could pretty much be anyone in Hollywood, but I'll go with Zac Efron. The "new girl" he was recently seen with is Brittany Snow. Not sure if she has a cocaine issues, but didn't she once have an eating disorder--using "stuff" to stay thin?

The rumour about she and Zac is coming from a daily mail pic showing them hugging at a hayride type event, along with a whole group of others, which suggests they're a couple The reputable papers clearly state they've been friends for years.

Btw, I've never read anything about Brittany and drugs, but she's been very upfront about her eating disorder and related issues.
ReplyDeleteAs for Ephron, and all the other stats, am I the only one who gets disturbed to hear about their rampant drug/alcohol problems, and in mere weeks, they're popped back into the press, as "doing fine?" No, they are most definitely not doing "fine." it takes a long time, and lots of steps, to recover from a major addiction, not just a quick dry out and a vacation. The mental part is worse than the physical addiction, itself. I think it sends a terrible message, myself. And, I'm not bashing Ephron, at all, I personally like him a lot, hope he can stay clean. Just the fakeness of celeb rehab and addictions.

ReplyDeleteNo doubt everyone in hollyweird's been in it at some time or another, but she looks healthy and works consistently. I'd be very surprised.
I merely said I had heard the rumor from a few ppl who worked in the business, and asked VIP, who seems to have connections, of some sort, if she'd ever heard that. At the time I heard it, I just considered her "one of the herd," and it was later I realized that was the girl that I'd heard that about. A rumor. I certainly hope it isn't true. I'd like ZERO as the number of young people in H'wood dealing/using/addicted, to drugs. Only reason I mentioned it, was the vague last half of this blind.

Delete@Kassandra, "tweener" signifies anyone who is famous for tweener entertainment. The person doesn't have to be a tweener (although many are teens when they appear in the Nickelodeon/Disney projects which shoot them to stardom). It's a common misconception.

Zac was really good in that nicole kidman movie. I forget the name of it. He shows a lot of potential to be a great actor. I hope he pulls himself out of the wholr druggie thing.
ReplyDeleteI so agree di, these celebs make a farce of rehab - they go long enough to detox at best. they are kidding themselves that less than a full course of rehab is even a decent start and it does send a bad message. Someone like Zac needs to remove himself from the Hollywood scene altogether in order to have a hope in hell.
