Blind Item #2

This former B list mostly television actor who hasn't done much since his hit almost network show ended its run was at a club this past week with his celebrity girlfriend. Our actor brought out his fake accent. Yes, he has one in real life but he really brings it out when he is hitting on women. Yes, in front of his girlfriend who ran away crying when the drunk actor started sitting women in his lap and asking them if they wanted to play some kind of elf game. No one could quite make out what he was saying but he managed to make out with a few of the women anyway.

  11. I thought Dominic Monaghan, too, except Lost wasn't a hit almost network show. Does Penn Badgley have an accent in real life? He's an American.

  12. I'm from that area -- people from Baltimore do have an accent. Don't know if it would be helpful picking up women though ;)

  13. @Charis, cosign. Baltimore accent sounds like a mix between a generic NYC accent and a generic Southern accent. (Don't ask me to get any more granular than that, ha ha.) Anyone who's from the area would of course not hear it as an accent. :-)

  14. Doesn't everyone have an accent?

  15. @Freya: I worked hard at getting rid of my obvious accent. I think English speakers would recognize that I am not from the South, but would not be able to place where I am from. So I guess that's a generic Northern US accent?

  17. Elf game - maybe someone from LOTR/Hobbit movies? Legolas is married, so...who else?

  18. Wait...the actor brought out a fake accent. "Yes, he has one in real life but he really brings it out" so does that mean it's an exaggeration of an accent? Such as a guy who sounds kind of Southern but who makes it very thick when filming? Or does that mean the actor in real life fakes an accent?
