50 Years In Jail

When you write about celebrities, it is not that often you talk about the possibility of one going to jail for 50 years. Getting to write about two of them, is something even more rare. Yesterday, the federal government handed down a 39 count indictment against Joe and Teresa Giudice with charges ranging from wire fraud to money fraud and making false statements in bankruptcy and loan applications. Joe already faces ten years in jail on a charge he falsified a drivers license application after his license was revoked.

The couple, who appear on Real Housewives already squeaked by in the past with the government, so you would think they would be super careful and would have used the past few years to fix everything they had done wrong and caught up on payments and made a deal. Nope. Teresa's attorney says she will be vindicated and in her statement, Teresa says she believes in Joe which makes it seem like she had no idea and wants him to go to prison alone. That way she can get a spin off reality show.

Teresa will soon be pitching the Real Housewives of Federal Prison and I'll bet that media whore Andy Cohen will be happy to out it on the air.

Unbelievable. Imagine what her mugshot will look like?

Doesn't "she believes in Joe" make it sound like she supports him? Not that "she has no idea and wants him to go to prison alone"...

I think this is fucking great. More celebrities should be indicted, convicted, and sent to prison - regardless of whether or not they are guilty of a crime. Half of them take it up the ass anyway and will enjoy shower sex with a big black man named Bubba. It will imprive the acting skills of the remainder. And of course, they will get along famously with all of the politians in the slam.

A case in point: Ted Stevens, the Senator from Alaska, who was convicted of bribery. Posthumously, it was determined that he was actually innocent - but who gives a shit? He was probably an asshole anyway and it was great fun to see him squirm at the dock.

My
Morning shit is bloody and it has a stench that made the cat pass out. Flex on over and eat my shit. It's yummy.

The very first time I ever saw them was the episode where Joe paid like $20K in cash for furniture. I remember my ex saying, "This guy is gonna get so busted for whatever he's doing throwing around that much cash on television. The IRS is going to be up his ass." Yup.

They haven't gotten 50 years yet. Dumb and misleading headline.

Meet the new cast of Orange is the New Black.

Misleading headline again. I think Teresa is too dumb to forge a W2. Watch the show, she is far from smart. She probably couldn't spell smart. I have no doubt that she was aware of a great deal of this, but I think Joe helped put it onto motion.

Yeah... They're in deep shit. I feel bad for their girls.

If you ever saw that show and didn't realize most of the people on it are connected or just plain garbage you're an idiot.

DewieTheBear said...

Wish it was the beginning of the end of this franchise, but Crosseyes Cohen will never allow that to happen.

auntliddy said...

First of all they arent celebrities. They are people willing to makes asses of themselves on t.v . Also turns out they are thieves and idiots. I dont care what happens to them.

Bacon Ranch said...

Actually sandy, I would say if you ever saw that show you're an idiot.
I think of Real Housewives as KUWTK v 2.0.

This womans hairline terrifies me.

sandybrook said...

@Bacon Ranch agreed since Ive never seen it and only read about these jackasses over the years. And how Comcast/Universal has enabled them to do everything they do on one part and then put them on shows like Today because they are" loved and popular" to sell their books and merchandise :(

ethorne said...

Bacon Ranch I resemble that remark ;)

It looks like Teresa's hairline is invading her face.

Isn't there already a show about mafia wives or some shit? She can be on it. Another spin off for these bitches is excessive

I think Joe is already planning to get his 8th grade degree in the joint.

Meekly raising my hand as a sometimes viewer of the RH series...@bacon, thanks for pointing out what has been making me stupid these past few years :)

I think Joe will take the hit on this and somehow Teresa's lawyers will make it so he thought all this up and she just signed whatever he gave her.

I believe there has already been talk of a spin-off if Joe went to jail for Teresa and the girls on how they would cope while Daddy is "away".

Joe's family is indeed "connected" so I don't rule out something happening to pay all this off and make it go away but they are pretty deep in the shit right now--not sure his family has that kind of resources.

Her forehead is just....Sad.

It's me said...

I don't doubt that Teresa has a good idea of what is going on and she seems to love an expensive lifestyle. This couple is horrible to each other, to their "friends", to the people who rent from them and so on. They are shady.

Aww V, I'm sure it's not just that ;) (Kidding, I consider most of the folks here to be of above average intelligence.) Just don't get the reality show stuff about housewives sitting around being b*tchy to one another.
E, you get a pass as well. Because I like your avie. :D

Don't get me wrong, I like some reality shows (Storage Wars,Pawn Stars,Finding Bigfoot) just not vapid vanity reality shows.

Bacon Ranch said...

..though you know what would be funny?
If they took a hint from Pawn Stars. On that show when someone is trying to sell something (say..a gumball machine). They have random facts pop up. Like "The first gumball machine was invented in yadda and sold to yadda".
So it would be cool to see "Her original nose ceased to exist in 1994. The Dr.'s name was yadda. He has been practicing since 1982."

THAT, I would watch.

Publicus is also Massive G.

I thought all of you who automatically skip over that nimrod's posts would want to know so you can give these pearls of wisdom a pass.

I swear to god, I really do think MG lives in his parent's basement with a stack of well used Hustler mags stuffed under his single pee and beer stained mattress.

This woman's face is the stuff of nightmares; I cannot believe that magazines have featured this woman and her spawn on their covers, and no, sadly, it was not "Mad" magazine. Everything about her is frightening.

car54 said...

Just reading that Joe is not a US citizen--his parents came to the US when he was a young child--in addition to these charges, he could be deported.

JoElla said...

Let's just wait and see how quickly she makes a deal, and rats on her husband to save her own ass..

califblondy said...

I can't see T ratting out Joe, but he'd sell her ass down the river in a heartbeat.

Twohead is probably cackling with glee at the thought of dumping this all on Juicy, getting rid of him to prison, and getting to play the victim for the rest of her life.

Ted was a very nice and genuine man.

Moosefan said...

You know, you just do no t mess with ANY alphabet agency-CPS, FBI, CIA. But you really REALLY do not f&&k around with the IRS. The IRS is what brought down Capone. I hope the IRS has their stuff locked tight against these two and I hope there is a public auction of every damn thing they own. Tacky asses.

Ted was an asshole who lacked compassion for anything except money in his pocket. Alaska is lucky any living thing in the region is still alive.

@ethorne, it's a tohead instead of a forehead.

I watch RH shows because its a bunch of stupid mommy drama that doesn't somehow affect me. Keeps me away from those sorts of women in real life. Kind of like watching something on Animal Planet to learn how to avoid wildcats.

That said, I will shed no tears when this man goes to jail. She's shrill, in constant denial, and raising horrible little mini-me girls who will be on this blog in their own fameball ways in 7-8 years.

Good riddance.
