You would think that when people have been married less than a year they would be having sex all the time. Not so if you are this A list mostly movie actress Academy award winner/nominee, who according to her hairstylist has yet to consummate her marriage and only got married because she was tired of being asked out.

ReplyDeleteIt says mostly movies and the only TV Anne Hathaway has done is SNL. I'm thinking Kate Winslet for this. She has an Emmy for her role in that HBO miniseries and has gotten married within the past year.

i can understand a star not wanting to be asked out. Chances are a "no" answer would offend some big Hollywood egoist who, out of revenge and anger, would spread rumors that movie star was in threesomes while shooting heroin, neglecting her pets, beating her kids and worst of all to a vain movie star, that she looks older in real life.

ReplyDeleteIt is interesting how everyone Jo's on the band wagon and believes this is absolutely true of Anne H or Carrie M. I am guessing it isn't true in the least. Sometimes you just have to let these blinds fade away.

ReplyDeleteI think that we're being over literal on the "being asked out" wording. Yes it can mean "hate being hit on" but I think you can also stretch it to be "hate having my private life in the tabloids". That being said I'm on the AnnE bandwagon. Years ago Vanity Fair did an article on her fraudster boyfriend. If I recall he was in NYC and she was flying to Australia; between the plane landing and her clearing customs she apparently called him 10-20 times. She definately struck me as overly needy and, whether she sleeps with him or not, would benefit from having a constant companion at hand.
