Blind Item #3
It is not as bad as The Director's Wife because this actress is not married, but she has proven herself willing over the past two years to sleep with absolutely anyone to get a part and she chooses well. She has gone from one hit to the next, all with no apparent acting talent, or at least not any more than the other people auditioning. What she does have is a willingness to sleep with anyone for the role and a name to make sure her phone calls are taken. I guess that is one way to get ahead. Oh, she is B- now I guess. A little higher when it comes to name recognition.
Sounds a lot like a blind that was suspected to be January Jones...

Delete@Amber I caught the last 5 mins of that stupid movie "He's Just Not That Into you" or whatever it is and Ginnifer does the narration. It was soooo bad. I couldn't believe they got all those mediocore actors to be in that turd of a movie, what I saw was terrible.

DeleteEnty has never really referred to Kstew as A list excect in name recognition. She sounds like a good guess, but what good roles? Besides Snow white 2 she took that focus-blah..and that Big shoe both sound like flops.
ReplyDeleteRebecca Hall? Name recognition because her father, Peter Hall, founded the Royal Shakespeare Company and her mother is an opera singer. She is rumoured to have hooked up with directors Sam Mendes and Ben Affleck, and she was in The Town, soon-to-be-seen in Iron Man 3, and just signed on for a sci-fi movie with Johnny Depp.

ReplyDeleteI was wondering the same thing, @tealily. I would not consider her A list so I think B fits. Should also add that a few years back she was in the Woody Allen movie that Penelope Cruz won an Oscar for, Vicky Christina Barcelona. Also had a small role in Frost/Nixon, but still...roles in fairly high profile, award-winning films.

ReplyDelete@lazyday603 I feel like people are kind of split on her. Some people say she's great, a naturalist, others say she's blah. She was in Lay the Favorite, which was PANNED, and a lot of people who saw it said she was over-the-top and unbelievable - but not in a good way.

Kstew could fit, but her only succesful ones are Snowwhite and the Twilight saga. Last one I count as one, since she prolly only had to bang the director to get the part once xD
Tbh, in my shallow opinion: Munn is very unattractive in the face, why is she famous anyway? I don't find her believable at all as 'the hot girl'in movies.

ReplyDelete@ Amber - LOL! I've been there, reveling in the awfulness of something. And GG is insufferable. When I see a photo of her in that short haircut it makes me want to punch a baby.
Re the blind, I want to say KStew but it seems too easy, too obvious, like it's the first thought when it comes to "no apparent acting talent".
And I know this sounds terrible, but doesn't she look like she'd be lousy in bed? Short attention span, picking at her dirty fingernails, watching Adult Swim over his shoulder the whole time, lousy.
I also can't stand Olivia Munn, she ruins the Newsroom for me, her acting is horrible! But I'm not sure this is her. The Kerry Washington guess is very interesting but I do think she's talented.
