Today's Blind Items - The Model Who Loves Pain
Every so often I hear a story about an actor or actress who is into pain or a little S&M. Nothing too terrible or excessive. Then you also see things like other actresses who enjoy the company of men and cannot be picky about what they can choose to say no to since they are getting a great deal of money. This model is different. You might not be able to put a face with the name, but you would know the name. A list in her world with B list name recognition in the real world. Over the past several months, what was just a hidden thing for her has come out in the open as she becomes more famous. What she used to hide with makeup or "a week off for vacation" is now there for the world to see when she is not careful about showing off her wounds. Not only has she been spotted with bruises around her neck and wrists, but there is not a day that goes by that you don't see her with bruises or rope burns around her ankles. Those are the obvious signs. If you happen to see her changing during a gig or a show, you will see the cuts and bruises from a whip on her back and stomach. She told a friend that while she used to be able to get turned on by just a tiny amount of pain, she has now become so numb to it, that it takes a greater and greater amount before she is able to be pleased and she worries that one day she might die because of her need to feel release, but that it comes at a very high price. She has never discussed the origins of why she needs pain although she did say that her second or third sexual encounter was with a man in his 50's when she was in her teens and that he used to beat her and she was so in love with him that she never said no.
The line, "as she becomes more famous" made me think of Webb. She has been wearing a one-piece on that diving show, right?
ReplyDeleteI thought Kristen Stuart with the limp, but realized she's not model. Or straight.
ReplyDeleteIts not Kate Upton. Since shes an up and comer that leaves out Kate Moss and Christy Turlington and Naomi too.

ReplyDeleteCara?
ReplyDeleteAgyness Deyn. A few stories turn on google search: "Agyness Deyn bruises".
ReplyDeletecara
ReplyDeleteChanel Iman, just to be different
ReplyDeleteThis isn't my guess, but I'm thinking it's someone like Agyness Deyn. There's another girl I've been seeing all over the place lately, but her name is on the tip of my tongue. In their world (the modeling/fashion world) they're A list.
ReplyDeleteCara Devinge (sp???) I saw pics th other day in the DM with bruises on her legs.
ReplyDeleteA model -- a list in her world but b list in the real world -- with name recognition but not face? I feel like this one will be obvious when I hear it. It's either a celebrity spawn, or something like a hand or foot model.
ReplyDeleteOh, is she venturing into the acting field? 50 Shades of Grey?
ReplyDeleteYes! Cara is the person I was trying to think of!
ReplyDeleteBut isn't Agnyess married to the Scio guy?
ReplyDeleteAnd here's miss Cara covered in bruises on the runway.
ReplyDeleteThose don't look like bruises- psoriasis maybe?
DeleteThose don't look like bruises- psoriasis maybe?
DeleteI guess everything does come from the DM now :(
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that worries me about this blind is they say there's bruises on her neck .. Everyone knows even in play the neck is a big no no. And for god sakes woman get some Japanese hemp.. No rope burns! Otherwise .. Meh.. I don't see her knocking on deaths door anytime soon. Seems like standard play. Some people bruise easily.
ReplyDeleteHere's an article about Cara's bruises.
ReplyDeleteCara Delevingne
The only thing is Cara's bruises aren't consistent with the story, but lice three links ladies!
ReplyDeleteIf you look closely, she has faded bruises on her forearms as well.
ReplyDeleteThe DM article says they're from psoriasis.
ReplyDeleteOhh this is the same chick that cut open her neck with a butter knife at that party with Kate Moss. Eh, that was a crazier blind IMO.
ReplyDelete@Onxy - I totally forgot about that! Yeah, that was an interesting choice of party trick.
ReplyDeleteAs long as her partners know what they are doing, I don't see anything wrong as long as she consents.
ReplyDeletecoco rocha
ReplyDeleteTotally Cara:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.thefrontrowview.com/2012/11/cara-delevingne-leaves-kate-moss-book.html
That's not psoriasis because you can see the yellowing bruise underneath the red marks.
ReplyDeleteAnd music is her aero-plane. It's her aero-plane.
ReplyDeleteI don't know the Cara chick. If we would "know the name" I'm thinking someone with more fame or a celebrity spawn. I like the Georgia Jagger guess.
ReplyDeleteOr one of Keith Richards daughters.
I agree. I think Cara is too specific to fashion junkies--- maybe more main stream?
Delete27 responses and no one is ripping on CDAN for implying that a taste for B&D is caused by underage sexual abuse?!?
ReplyDeleteWhoever wrote this item, FUCK YOU! B&D isn't my kink, but I have friends--and have had lovers--who were really into it. It's actually quite common and not at all dysfunctional.
Always with the sleazy pedophilia to jack shit up just because you got nothing good to post. Fuck you, you useless cunts.
Wow look at those bruises on Cara! This answer seems obvious.
ReplyDeleteI recognized that as well @ B.Profane - the whole blind was so poorly written and misleading I didn't even want to touch the end part of the blind. I haven't had my coffee yet and was in no way ready to react. But I think you said it properly for those of us in the know:)
ReplyDelete@B Profane, consider that most people's understanding of B&D is from "50 Shades of Grey," which portrays the D as having those tendencies as a result of a teenage relationship with an older woman. That was the premise of the whole story - the "normal" girl had to saved the "damaged" boy from his kink.
ReplyDeleteI've never swung in that direction but I, too, have friends who do and they're just as normally weird as the rest of us. It's not like they go to the grocery store wearing bondage masks, FFS.
I agree with your first two paragraphs, B.
ReplyDelete*had to save
ReplyDeleteOh, I get that you weren't calling the commenters that but the writers. I can see clearly now. And really good point, Prolixe
ReplyDelete@amber, I've seen that girls name all over but didnt place it until I looked her up. Kinda nuts.
ReplyDelete@b I just took it to mean the person in the blind has a reason they like the pain, not that all people into a little s&m do, but just in this particular case. But could easily see your interpretation, and agree with your response.
Cara Delevingne is the face of Chanel and DKNY....
ReplyDeleteNo, rexruther, I'm right about CDAN turning into a platform for cheap pedophilia-paranoia exploitation. Don't get me wrong, two honeys I loved very much were sexually abused by family as children. It was very sad and sometimes painful to deal with the detritus of such abuse.
ReplyDeleteBut not every tweener in Hollywood is the victim of some industry-wide pedophilia conspiracy, and for damn-sure not everyone into B&D is so due to sexual abuse!
This is one subject about which Enty's ghosties really fucking suck and need their asses kicked right smartly!
Mystery Solved...Cara Delevingne...Here are the bruises on her legs and feet at a recent show...
ReplyDeletehttp://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/cara-delevingne-model-displays-nasty-looking-1729675
My name is Cara and I've never heard of this chick. How is that name recognition?
ReplyDeleteThis bitch came out of nowhere.
ReplyDeleteOT, so apols, but on the DM link provided above, there's a link to a news article on the tink tink case, stating that the police have autopsy evidence, and expect forensics to back it up, that tink tink stoved her head in with the cricket bat.
ReplyDeleteAnd they don't present it at the bail hearing, allowing him to walk?
Cara Delevingne. One thing the buddies (Cara and Rihanna) trade notes about.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea until I clicked on the link you all provided. As soon as I saw her I thought, 'HEY! that's the knife play girl.'
ReplyDeleteAgree it's Cara
I was definitely thinking Cara.
ReplyDeleteI think Agnyss is on her way down, not up. If this was 5 years ago could have been her maybe.
@B--I didn't read it as CDAN claiming the subject's need for kink was due to her teenage relationship, but rather that she herself sees it as coming from that place and time in her personal history. I agree that being into BDSM doesn't automatically make one an awful, twisted person (trust me, I have many, many kinky friends and acquaintances, and they run the gamut of total sweethearts to total asswipes). However, in this particular the problem isn't with the fact that she likes kink--it's the fact that she needs to keep escalating the level of stimulation, to the point where she herself is afraid that she might go too far and put her safety and life at risk. Kink itself isn't the problem here; it's the fact that she's not happy with what she's doing, but doesn't seem to know how to stop. I hope she finds a good kink-aware psychiatrist/counselor to help her figure out a way to get her kicks and still stay alive.
ReplyDeleteThey have the pic of Cara with bruises all over her leg. Poor thing. It's another sad story.
ReplyDeleteOf course it's this Cara person... the Entys read the DM, see an intriguing picture, make up what they think is a salacious blind and then let us loose on it. Oh how I miss the Timmy/Shemmy days.
ReplyDeleteGot to agree @shopgirl. IN the DM article they talked about psoriasis an it looks more like that to me than bruises.
ReplyDeleteRobin, your opinion above all I would heed, but I don't think you can deny the implications of that last sentence in the context of the lurid crap that's been spewed out on CDAN over the last year. There's been a systematic pattern of B&D kink being linked to childhood sexual abuse. Fuck that noise, I say. Many of the most intelligent, accomplished people I've known in my life have been kink-folk...and from none of them, now that I think about it, have I ever sensed a whiff that they'd ever been abused.
ReplyDeleteYou can tell exactly what type of pissy little cunts are writing this bullshit. Ain't ur-Enty. I'm fucking sick of it.
I'm going to guess Agness Deyn, since she's with that total creeper Giovanni ribisi.
ReplyDeleteTrust me she's in the DM everyday doing something. In the UK her posse are extremely pretentious- that's Nick Grimshaw, Rita Ora, Harry Styles, Jake Bugg so on and so forth.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to chime in my two cents--I have psoriasis, and those pics in the DM look exactly like psoriasis, not bruises. I don't see any yellow tinting underneath them like someone earlier said. Having dealt with this my whole life, I feel 100% confident saying it is psoriasis. I'm thinking this model isn't the subject of the blind.
ReplyDeleteDagny, Concur. I have the exact same lesions on my legs. I call it my stigmata.
ReplyDeletePlus there are no rope burns around her ankles.
hmmmmm. that kinda looks like psoriasis to me. i also never heard of that person.
ReplyDeleteBreathe, B. Profane, it read teens. Maybe you're reading pre-teens or mid-teens or something else into it.
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine has psoriasis and Cara's leg marks look like that to me.
@Flora Stigmata! Ha! Love it. I like to say that I can never be bored because I come with my own travel game. Waiting at the DMV? Just pull out a Sharpie and play "Connect-the-Dots"!
ReplyDeleteCoco Rocha
ReplyDeleteI have friends who are into S&M that have history of childhood abuse, and others who haven't. I'm not reading that 50 shades shit, because those same friends told me how awful it was. If I want to read fanfic,I know people who write it better..and it's free. The Cara girl's marks look like psoriasis, or scars from it. I scar dark like that, takes years to fade.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliment, B.! *blush* I understand how you feel, as the pedophilia/hebephilia posts can really get to one after a while, and I can see how that last sentence would read as more of the same. Some of my kinky friends seem to have had very messed-up childhoods (more mental/emotional than physical abuse, IIRC), but plenty of them haven't, so I don't see a positive correlation between kink and abuse. (There are, unfortunately, people who engage in BDSM who use being part of the scene as a smokescreen for far more unpleasant behavior, and who won't hesitate to abuse their partners--I'm thinking these are the kind of people that the subject of the blind might be concerned about running into, and she's right to be thinking about that. Also, I know lots of people like breath play, but please, DON'T DO IT! It only takes a little pressure on the vagus nerve in the neck at the wrong time to stop your heart (in the days before more standardized judicial hangings, when there was little if any drop, a lot of people died from this rather than actual strangulation, and the same still holds true w/a lot of hanging suicides), and even if you don't care for yourself, leaving your partner w/a dead body on his/her hands and a lot of explaining to do to the authorities just isn't right. (I was trying to convince someone of this in a chat last night, but I don't think I was successful...*sigh*)
ReplyDeleteFor someone who personally leads a rather boring life, I know way too much about alternative sexuality, etc., eh? ;-)
Oh, one more thing: Enty, I don't suppose we could get more Kindness blinds, could we? We all know there's a lot of icky stuff going on in Hollywood, but I'm sure there's also a fair amount of good people doing good things as well, and it would no doubt raise all our spirits to hear more about them. Think of it as a public service, eh? :-)
ReplyDelete"For someone who personally leads a rather boring life, I know way too much about alternative sexuality, etc., eh? ;-)"
ReplyDeleteDoesn't it feel weird to be the vanilla one when you're hanging out with your kink friends? You sort of start casting about for something even vaguely risque to claim. "I, uh, I get turned on when she wears lingerie--and sometimes we do it in the shower! That's wild, right? Right? OK, I got nuthin'..."
(When one formerly-abused honey, ahem, "asked for a pearl necklace" I couldn't do it because it felt like she was asking me to reenact childhood abuse. And it was weird because she was asking for that particular kink in such a confidently certain, adult manner. She had a lot of denial issues.)
Cara is EVERYWHERE right now - among others on the cover of Vogue. That's a biggie. She is def. an A-list model.
ReplyDeleteAfter she slit her throat at Kate Moss' party there were a lot of rumors about her violent upbringing, can't really remember what it was.
Chanel Iman.

ReplyDeletethat looks like a rope burn to my uneducated eyes...

ReplyDeletecara Delvigne yesterday in DM with "bruises" on her legs
her "bruises" look psoriasis (or injection marks on the feet)
Cara Devigne has confirmed on her twitter that it was Psoriasis
ReplyDelete"Be gone psoriasis, you're no fun!"
It's psoriasis:Cara Delvigne is in a doc on the recent french Fashion week and a make-up artist,a hairdresser and a catwalk director talk with a dermatologist about the psoriasis of a model and the doc shows Delvigne ready to cry or at leasr very nervous waiting the dermatologist's decision (can she wear the clothes and can they cover her psoriasis?) The director does a joke on " the peas are hype this season"
