RHOC's Lynne Curtin Filed For Divorce

Lynne Curtin was only on RHOC for two seasons but she did bring some drama while she was on. Back in May she announced that she and her husband were separating even though he didn't want to. Lynne wanted to because she wanted someone who did not have the financial problems he did which is why when she filed for divorce this past week and asked for spousal support, then I guess maybe he is doing better financially or she found some hidden assets or believes there are some. The pair were married for 22 years and have a 24 year old daughter and a 21 year old daughter.

I couldn't care less about the really not real housewives, they're vain snotty self absorbed spoiled childish obnoxious pretentious brats, what normalish man would want to stay married to any one of them? Swilling chardonnay and bitching about how shallow some costar is? Please. They suck and they're just stupid aging playboy bunnies, with sagging implants, too much facial plastic surgery and too much free time on their hands.
In the immortal words of Mel Gibson in Braveheart, I imagine these newly released into the wild husbands first thoughts and words are: "FREEEDOMMM!!!!"

Well, that's kinda fucked up, she helped ruin his finances. He went into debt to keep her and the girls happy. SMH.....

Well put, Unknown...

Is she still making that incredibly crappy jewelry? She was one of my favorite housewives and I was completely destroyed when they fired her. Her daughters completed the total train wreck of the Curtin family.

This kinda makes me sad. Frank always seemed like he cared for Lynne and did his best for her and those spoiled, awful daughters. Hope the ugly cufd bracelet enterprise takes off, Lynne; I doubt you're gonna marry up at this point.

She seems to be trying to work at whatever job comes her way. How weird is her having a line of curtains? And I would love to know how much profit she makes from her bracelets. Bc of her obsession with looking young and endless plastic surgery, I feel she's money hungry and suck of her husbands money mismanagement. Remember the daughter was served an eviction notice on can and the husband didn't warn any of them it would happen? I bet he felt pressure to lie cheat and steal (as do most of the RH husbands) to keep Lynne happy with her material things including her fake body and face.
Lynne does seem to be trying to hustle though. She reminds me of my sister in law. No college, get married, have a kid, then she gets bored and realizes oh shit she has no skills! So they take whatever opportunity comes. Lynn is lucky she was on tv and had any offers at all to put her name on something!

LOL Unknown! Wiser words were never spoke.

Oh and, didn't TMZ break this story months ago? Why is it being sold as a brand new hot story (and not only on this site) today?

Yeah what an eff you to her parents when she was 18 and drank alcohol on camera!!

she is one of the dumbest HW's ever and that's saying a lot because most of them are. he was greasy and sleazy. i'll be surprised if he has any money to give her.

Gosh thanks guys. They just really bug me. They're from the Kim Kardashian school of being famous for absolutely nothing or just having some money(usually faked). Now, if one of them starts a legitimate business, or has some talent, writes a decent book by themselves, that's different and I applaud them.

Why can't these people live within their means?! Isn't Sheree living in a one bedroom apartment with her daughter now, after years of trying to keep up with the Joneses? Ugh. Still, I will continue to watch these shows, since I enjoy trashy television.

Enty: no. One. Cares. About. These. Shows. Very. Incool.

I don't recall her, I just started watching the show again, though, this year.

LOL Unknown 1! My sentiments exactly!!

@ auntliddy - I watch some of the RH shows as do some other CDaN readers. If you don't like the topic, please skip over it. There are LOTS of shows that I don't watch but I wouldn't think to ask Enty to stop writing about them because I'm not a fan. Jesus, is it really so hard to just go to the next post?

hear hear mango!!! and also, unknown1, many of the housewives have parlayed their exposure on the show to go on to create successful businesses, or advertise the ones they already have- so you have made a gross generalisation.

He's better off without her. Rumor has it when she left the show, she started hooking to keep up her cash flow. God knows she wasn't going to support herself with her crappy cuff thingies.

If that is true, she needs to "hook" up with Suzy Favor Hamilton (the long distance runner turned escort). They could have their own show -"The Real Call-wives of..."

For the record, I care.

Kind of.

I do. I was always intrigued by Lynne. I liked seeing the update even if it was sad news.

Aww I loved Lynn, she was so spacey and ditzy. Very entertaining in an otherwise ridiculously catty ensemble.

I am proud to admit that I tune in to every new episode of Housewives (minus Miami, I just can't get with those women for some reason) and I will continue to tune in until they die.

No one can win on this site this weekend. Everything everyone says and does is wrong/offensive/ignorant/snarky. Even Enty is catching some shade now, I think someone just wanted to make sure he didn't feel left out.

Why am I drawing a blank on which show she was on...what does the 'C' stand for? I guess I am feeling slow on this sunny Sunday...

JSierra said...

Chrissy it's Orange County. All the RHOBC RHOOC RHOM RHONJ RHODC get confusing as hell sometimes.

Chrissy Buns said...

Thanks, I don't watch them, so I am easily confused :)

JSierra said...

They are actually pretty entertaining if you are bored and need a good laugh. Just don't go in with high expectations.

The real housewives are the new daytime soaps, but with real people. When i can i watch them all.

All I remember of Lynne were her two sad trainwreck daughters, especially the youngest. She is the same age and has the same name as my daughter. Her first appearance on the show was her arriving at her sister;s birthday party. She dressed like a high-priced hooker (16 years old). Lynne then commented that she was jealous of her daughter's dress or something. Sick and sad.
