God I love Blazing Saddles. I saw it when it first came out in the theaters and we had to go back twice just to hear all the jokes, the audiences were laughing so much. (this was before the days of VCRs and DVRs, kiddies).

All that did was make me crave Blazing Saddles... Mel Brooks was such a genius. As a kid, when I saw his stuff, it was just campy-funny - but as an adult I got just how much he pushed the envelope.

Might be time for a Mel Brooks movie marathon this weekend. Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, History of the World (Part 1)...

Richard Pryor was one of the writers for Blazing Saddles:)
