Steven Tyler & Erin Brady Split

According to a new report in the NY Post, Steven Tyler and Erin Brady have split. The couple got engaged last year in Hawaii but I got the feeling that none of his daughters especially liked Erin and kept hoping that he would break up with Erin. The Post says the reason for the split was that Steven's efforts at sobriety and being on tour just made it too hard to have a relationship. I like my reason better. The Post's reason sounds like it came from a publicist.

Her biggest disagreements with her actor husband are about politics and he has let it be known to his friends that he and his wife are on opposite sides of the spectrum no matter what she might say publicly. Our actress has already voted and she did not vote for Obama. She has voted Republican forever.

Disney Buys LucasFilm

I can't decide if Disney buying LucasFilm is a good thing or bad thing. It was a great thing for George Lucas who sold the company for a little over $4B. Disney already says it will make a new Star Wars film to be released in 2015. To me Star wars has tried to move in a more kid friendly direction lately with Clone Wars and all the Legos and maybe it makes sense for them to sell to Disney. Yes, I worry that Mickey Mouse will show up in a Star Wars film or that every one will have a happy ending or a Finding Nemo short before the film starts. Disneyland and Disney World have long had Star Wars characters and attractions so this kind of seems like it was meant to be. Is it selling out? If you are a Star Wars fan, are you worried?

Today's Blind Items - The Family Man

This actor is A+ list. Probably shouldn't be because he is not that great of an actor, but he is. 99% of the time he is movies. Not above a cameo if his butt is kissed sufficiently, but generally all movies. Only gets along with people who work for him. No one ever wants to work with him again unless they have to. He likes to think of himself as one of the guys, but it is more about people doing what he tells them to do and then sometimes they get to stand next to him. Not too close though. Our actor is the star and you would do best to remember it. Is he the biggest jackhole in Hollywood? He is right up there at the top of the list. He likes to think he is in the mob or some kind of gangster. As long as the gangster lives and interacts with the most lily white people on the face of the earth. He loves to pretend he is a family man but with the exception of being married and having kids, there is no other family in him. He treats every movie he is in like his own private casting couch. He makes it clear who he has his eyes set on during filming and no one is allowed to touch any of those women until after he has had sex with them or they have turned him down enough that he decides they must be a lesbian. He thinks every woman who ever says no to him is either a lesbian and he calls them some very choice words too. His wife has to do what he says or face his wrath. Even though they have a staff, he expects her to cook him dinner and have it ready for him when he gets home. Sometimes he gets home at 6pm and sometimes 2am but dinner better be ready and she better be serving it to him. She learned that the hard way when he dragged her out of bed not long after they were married by her hair and dragged her right down the stairs like that and made her cook for him in the middle of the night while she was naked and in front of his friends. Yeah, quite the family man.

Tomorrow on MTV, Taylor Lautner will be on MTV to introduce some Twilight clip that no one will even watch because all they will care about is seeing who Taylor is bringing with him. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are set to make their first joint televised appearance together with Taylor and will answer questions from viewers on mtv.com for hours and hours. Most of the questions won't actually be questions, but will be things like, "OMG, OMG, I can't believe the two of you are in the same room. What color is the room? Are you going to explode because you are so close? I am. I can't believe you are even reading my question. I am going to run out and tattoo this to my body right under my Edward and Bella forever tattoo. OMG, I want to know so much, like what was Bella's carry on item at the beginning fo the first book and did this have any significance to the entire series of books and movies and OMG OMG, I am shaking. George Wendt Hospitalized With Chest Pains

George Wendt had to drop out of the Chicago production of The Odd Couple after being admitted to the hospital for chest pains. George, who most of you remember from playing Norm on Cheers, and me for starring as Fat Sam in Fletch which I saw 463 times has been busy lately. He has a new beer drinking guide out and has been everywhere promoting it. He really should be careful. he is way older than he was when he starred on Cheers, but appears to be the same weight and the body just can't handle it. He was one of the very few guys that could make Eddie Murphy lose it during the show.

Gene Hackman Slaps A Homeless Man

Gene Hackman and his wife were walking down the street in Santa Fe, New Mexico when they passed a homeless man on the street. The homeless man demanded money from the couple and then called Hackman's wife a c**t. Hackman slapped the man who then immediately called the police. After hearing both sides of the story, the 82 year old Hackman was judged to have been acting in self defense and no tickets or arrests made. What do you think? Right decision by the police? Adnan Ghalib Asked To Lie By Lynne Spears

Did you even know if Adnan Ghalib was alive? The photographer who somehow became Britney Spears' boyfriend back in 2007 testified in court about what Lynne Spears wanted him to say and that she asked him to lie about Sam Lutfi and to say that Sam was the person who caused Britney's breakdown. Adnan says their relationship went from professional to personal in December 2007. He makes it sound so movie of the week. She was delusional by that point. Adnan says they saw each other every day and that he never saw Sam doing anything wrong and admitted that he did smuggle Britney a disposable cell phone back in 2008 and was ordered to stay away from Britney for three years because of it.

Sabrina Bryan Kicked Off Dancing With The Stars

Apparently the fact that Sabrina Bryan went home is some kind of shocker. Yes, she got a perfect score, but she is not really in the demographic of the show and does not have any real name recognition. Louis Van Amstel has never done really well on the show. He only made the finale once when he finished third with Kelly Osbourne. A lot of the people who vote for someone on the show are also voting for the pro dancer. I don't think anyone ever really votes for Louis. No matter how good or talented Sabrina was, she was not going to win unless she was perfect every week and paired with someone like Maksim.

Cee Lo Accused Of Sexual Battery

TMZ is reporting that Voice judge Cee Lo Green is being accused of sexual battery and that the LAPD is investigating. Cee Lo says he has not done anything wrong and even had one of his friends vouch for him who said Cee Lo would not hurt anyone. Apparently the friend was not aware of Cee Lo's previous arrest for domestic violence. The thing is a lot of the details check out on this. The LAPD went to a restaurant where this incident happened and Cee Lo says he has not been to the restaurant in three months. No one has said that it happened less than three months ago. Many times people wait and I'm guessing whoever the victim is that they waited. Maybe Cee Lo groped someone or grabbed someone in a sexual manner.

So, Tom Cruise refuses to press any charges against Jason Sullivan. If you recall, Jason is the Australian male model/interior decorator who has been living next door to Tom and accidentally stumbled across Tom's property. Jason was tased and had to go to the hospital. Tom could probably also hire the guy to decorate some of his rooms. Maybe that is what Jason had in mind. Jason says he was just confused about what house was his. Uh huh. You and I both know there is way more to this story than is being let on. Jason seems like the kind of guy who loves publicity and money so someone better pay him a ton of it or he is going to sell a huge story to the tabloids.

You know, those are the same terms that people say about John Travolta too.
