Today's Blind Items - Is It His Child?
This is a complicated one, but a good one. It involves an A list movie actor who got his sometime mistress pregnant. The mistress is an actress too. She was in a relationship with a man who was totally head over heels and let our actress run all over him. She would do what she wanted, when she wanted and did it often. Our actor had to be a bit more discreet. His face is much more widely known than that of the mistress. She is known too, but not like the actor. Anyway, the mistress and her man never really had sex much so it came as a shock to many when she announced she was pregnant. She had never been shy about talking about the lack of sex. Turns out the child is actually the child of the A list actor. The two managed to keep it fairly quiet but as the looks became more obvious, the couple had to do something so what they managed to do was deflect all attention from the child for fear it would ruin the career of the A list actor. The child is never seen in public. Even though the mistress and her man are no longer together, the child continues to live with the man until such time as the child can be shipped to boarding school. The fact that all three of the people know and are willing to keep it quiet is amazing. There is a fourth person who knows and had to be paid off with a lot of money to keep her quiet and she also went on a nice year long vacation. You never see her anymore in public.

MM, Minne Driver has said that the father is a writer, so unless she is being less than truthful, I don't think this is her.
So, I'm confused. Did we ever know publicly that the actress was pregnant? Or was she publicly pregnant, but now we never see the child?

Tom Hanks for the A List actor? The actor in question has to have a real good guy image to go to such lengths to keep this quiet.

A list movie actor: His career would be ruined if this was found out.
Actress/mistress: Was in a relationship with another man, but got pregnant with A list actor's baby.
Man who is NOT the father, but claims baby as his.
Another woman: got paid off to keep quiet and you never see her in public anymore--which means that we used to see her.
This makes me think that the A list actor is married (why would his career be ruined otherwise?).
It also sounds like people knew that the actress was with the man who claimed the baby ("she had never been shy about talking about the lack of sex").
I don't think the actress hid the pregnancy. She is just hiding the child because the kid looks like their father.
Maybe the writer was the one headoverheels for Minnie who was busy with Colin Farrell (a rumor at the time). I'm thinking his writer gf at the time is the one paid off.

Minnie Driver's son is seen in public with her though, and the only actor he looks like is Ian Ziering, so I don't think this is Minnie.
Yeah I was a bit confused as well did she hide the pregnancy or did the world know she was pregnant but now hides the child?
@ Montana - I take it as the pregnancy was known, otherwise why would they "deflect all attention from the child"? If the pregnancy was never known, the child would never need attention deflecting.

I'm thinking it's a biracial child and the mother and not real father are one race and the real father is another race. This would make it more obvious that the child didn't belong to the not real father. Otherwise, it seems silly to completely hide the child.

Sharon Stone and Phil Bronstein are an interesting guess. Bronstein has dark hair and dark eyes and Roan is very blond and light-eyed. That doesn't necessarily mean he's not Phil's though. Who's a blond, blue-eyed A list actor Sharon Stone might have had an affair with? Brad Pitt? That seems a little crazy. Ooh, do you think it could be Schwarzenegger?

If head over heels is a clue, maybe it's a link to China Chow. She dated Keanu Reeves for a while, he could be our actor with China being the woman paid to go away (since she has no children). I don't have anything for the mom yet.
I think the man no longer in the relationship has the kid. I am not sure if he's an actor too, but regardless, what actress said she didn't have sex a lot with her boyfriend and then she got pregnant? AND she doesn't have the kid, HE does. The A list actor is secondary to solving the riddle, I think.
What about the person who used to be seen in public and isn't really seen any longer? I'm thinking like a Paris Hilton type there.
Also the term mistress begs to ask is the A list actor married? It this why he cannot come out as the father of the child?

I just looked at pictures of Kelly Rutherford's kids (Helena and Hermes) and not only do they look like each other but they both look like Daniel Giersch so I don't think they are the answer to this blind.
I took it more like the kid looks like the dad. It seems like the looks incriminate the actor. If it just didn't match the couple, it would only incriminate the actress, no?
From about age 4 I looked exactly like my dad. It was as if my mother had nothing to do with it. For the sake of example--someone like Baldwin has very obvious traits.

I think the child isn't a baby since it said something about boarding school. Looking at actresses pregant in 2009, I came up with Sarah Chalke. She's been "engaged" since 2006, and google image pulls up no pics of her child.

For the most part, an affair isn't going to sink a ship unless you've cultivated a perfect image for yourself (e.g Tiger Woods). So this person would have to do the same thing too. One name that comes to mind is Will Smith.

I really don't think it's them. I just think he took the pics from a British site and didn't look around for non-blurred ones. Obviously the kids were both just seen in public yesterday and they all look related. Plus a huge point in their paternity suit is how much of a b she is, she didn't even tell him she was giving birth, she didn't put his name on the birth certificate and has been court ordered to add it. I highly doubt he would go thru all that if he's not the dad. I do know for sure she's been court ordered to add his name to the birth certificate more than once and has just refused to work with him at all.

Saana and Denzel? I don't know what image he would have to protect. I know he cheats, Hollywood knows he cheats, every major city with a woman knows he cheats and most of all, Pauletta, his wife knows he cheats. And when was Saana ever with a man and publicly complaining about not having a full sex life? That would have stood out, especially if it were a Black man and the hyper masculinity in our community which suggests that you not only have to be putting it down with your woman, but every woman within a 50 mile radius, I don't think such confessions would have sat well with said man. Kelly's kids are probably protected since this photo was in France, and they are having the custody issues. That would be my guess. There is an order preventing her kids to be displayed in the media, per the judgement, I believe. NOT because of this blind.

Brandy's daughter is around 10, and she was always in the audience during Brandy's season of DWTS. I never saw their reality show, so can't speak as to why her daughter wouldn't have been featured ... protection from the 'business' perhaps?
One other person I came up with and this is a total guess, but Jennifer Jason Leigh had a baby not too long ago and split with the dad soon after. I can't find any pics of the baby. She was in a crap load of movies with a bunch of a-listers so no real guesses, but her wiki said she was linked to RDJ. Maybe phoebe cates as the friend who was paid off because I found an interview saying they were bffs and we haven't seen her in a while?

Maybe need to look at the relationship between the A lister and the guy the mistress was involved with. If it was a family member, that would be a real scandal. For ex, what if they were brothers?

Oh wait! A few years ago, (and this got me banned from commenting at dlisted, for merely suggesting this), I had really thought that Eva Mendes was pregnant. Look at picks of her, circa, god, I want to say like 2006, but am not sur...could have been a year or so earlier (I thought that maybe the baby was born deformed, or with some disabilities, but the picks of her leading up, she was VERY covered). Anyway, maybe the dad was Denzel. He's totally an A, and it was right after they filmed Training Day. I also remember feeling like something was up with her because she was then taking job after, job...like she was hoarding money like a squirrel. Could be you know.

This has to be Bruce Potato Head Willis. He's probably the only A list celeb who has such dominant genes that in two seconds you could tell who the father would be.
He's pretty private but his entire family is always in the news. This would be a media fire storm if it got out. Now just to figure out who the actress is.

I cannot find more than one picture of James Spader's baby online. So that matches for the "never photographed" and it doesn't show that they got married. He has two older sons, and those kids have their names listed on IMDB and Wiki but no name at all for his youngest son. (If it is a son, some places are saying they didn't reveal the gender.) Also Leslie basically dropped off the map in 2003. She and Bruce had a flirt scene at the very beginning of Unbreakable. Hmm hmm. I think this is totally them. The paps would go nuts trying to get a pix of this baby. Spader also seems like a schlub who will roll over.
Also, the woman who knows and got paid off and is never seen would be James Spader's ex-wife Victoria Spader. She and James Spader were married for 17 years and had dated for 11 years prior to getting married. I bet he confided in her as a friend.

I really never know the answers to these, but didn't Sarah Jessica Parker say or heavily imply a few years ago that she and Matthew Broderick rarely had sex or their sex life was very quiet? Though I'm sure it doesn't match any of the info, the part about the mother complaining about the lack of action made me remember that. I could look up pictures of their son James but I'm not good at spotting similar features unless someone looks like a Baldwin next to a mirror.

The A list candidate is Bruce Willis. He and Leslie were in Unbreakable together in 2000. Can you think of any other A list celebrity who if you see their kids you immediately know that it's his? All his daughters have his potato head. The only other kid I think is a spitting image of her father is Matilda Ledger.
So this is Bruce Willis A list star, Leslie as the mistress. Spader as the ex raising the baby. I'm all for privacy but not even revealing the name of the child? Weird. His ex wife Victoria is the other woman who knows who has been paid off.

I didn't take the blind to mean that the child had literally never been photographed. Just that in general the child is hidden from public view and never photographed. The kid is 4 years old now. That pix and the other link to one I posted are the only ones I can find. Strange no? Plus no name of the child listed? No marriage? Despite being together for all these years? Leslie had her baby in August of 2008 and Bruce married his wife in March of 2009. If it is them, I can see why it was bad timing. He would have been dating her while he was fooling around with Leslie.
What about the Kate Moss ? she has a child .. the man who is listed as the father might not be ? I assume he is the one looking after the child since he was the sober one
If it is Bruce Willis/Spader then in my opinion it is not scandalous enough to sink a career. It may ruin his marriage but his career will be in tack.
I like the Denzel/Damon/Affleck/Smith guesses. Those are people with a lot to lose. Maybe not Affleck but the rest do. I'll throw in Jimmy Fallon for fun.
If you want to do a comparison, think of Jude Law. That guy has had a string of dalliances with babies as the usual end result. His career is just fine.

Denzel Washington is the national spokesman for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America,devout christian and family man.He had seriously considered becoming a preacher and is highly repected in his community. He has the most to lose. There have been rumours of his womanizing that have always been denied but getting someone knocked up you couldn't deny that.

The big scandal would be if Denzel Washington had an affair (and impregnated) a white woman since he has gone on record about only doing love scenes with black women because he didn't wan o offend his African American female fanbase. Having an out of wedlock child is one thing but to have one after making such a bloc public declaration would really destroy him...or relegate him to b-star status...or even worse playing second banana in Tyler Perry Mama Medea films.

It's totally Bruce Willis. All the clues match up. He's a family man as well and it would totally wreck his world if it came out that he was a cheater. His daughters, his wife his fans, people think of him as very nice and decent guy, especially when he was such a family guy when Demi married Ashton Kutcher.

Not sure who the A-list actor is, but how about Janine Lindemueller (sp?) as the mistress and Jesse James as the ex? She's an "actress". He has custody and "she would do what she wanted, when she wanted and did it often" fits with her career. She may have complained about the lack of sex in her relationship during interviews?
An A-lister knocking up a porn star would definitely ruin a career. One thing that doesn't fit, there are pictures of Sunny on the web, although I haven't seen any lately. Jesse also moved her to Austin, so she's "hidden away" in a sense.
Maybe one of Jesse's skanks had to be paid off because she knew?
