Sylvester Stallone's Son Overdoses

Sage Moonblood Stallone was found yesterday in his home, dead of an apparent pill overdose. He was 36. Police do not think it was a suicide because there was no suicide note found at the scene. His lawyer said that Sage was talking about getting married and that Sage's maid was the one to find him. Sage was the son of Sasha Czack.

(sigh) Why do people think they can regulate their own doses? This is so sad.

TMZ posted a story he was dead in his room for at least 3 days maybe even a week. He lived like a hermitlike Howard Hughes and the room was littered with food and debris. The maid wasn't allowed in his bedroom or to even knock on the door if he was home.

His mom hadn't heard from him in a week and asked the maid to check on him. That is how he was discovered. Initial reports it isn't a suicide. Sounds like what happend to Heath he just played with the doses too much or mixed over the counter with scripts.

Poor guy, he didn't famewhore off his dad's name and tried to have his own career restoring grindhouse movies.

That's awful and so sad but moonblood..that's how they describe menstrual cycles in the game of throne books. That's just an odd name. Still, not to distract from the situation, rest in peace, I feel bad for Sly.

@timebob: I guess we can assume it's not going to be an open-casket service... *shudder* (Please, Lord, let someone find me before I get too stinky or my cat eats too much of me...) I don't care much for his dad at this point, but I wouldn't wish this on anyone; I'm told by those who would unfortunately know that losing a child is just about the worst thing to ever have to deal with, especially when it's totally unexpected like this seems to be.

Sending good thoughts to everyone who cared about him...

Thanks for the additional info @timebob.

Just sad. RIP Sage. Life is a fragile thing and we need to enjoy every momemt as best we can.

I fear this is turning into another summer of death. My dad passed suddenly during the 2009 "event", so I'm extra sensitive to this. So much weirdness going on right now. I've been having totally crazy dreams again. Anyone else?

I was reading TV Guide yesterday about Andy Griffith & Ernest Borgnine - remember the old saying deaths come in 3's? But I don't think Sage is prominent enough to make the 3rd one (no disrespect meant).

@Robin: You wrote almost exactly what I would write. Losing a child is an unspeakable pain, and I say that not from my own experience, thank God, but from being with people who were in that position. I don't care for Sly, either, but I am thinking many healing thoughts for him and for the rest of Sage's family.

So he may have been alone for up to a week but was "planning on getting married"? Where was his girlfriend/fiance? Didn't she try to call him and wonder why he didn't pick up over a period of days?

I just think it's odd that if he was there for awhile, his girlfriend didn't try to check on him instead of his mother.

My deepest sympathies to his loved ones. And a great big nasty stink-eye to the FDA and whomever else approves synthetic pharmaceuticals yet denies the medicinal value of marijuana.

Crazy dreams here, too. Egads! We need everyone to send out their most powerful good vibes ASAP!

Hope this poor man rests in peace. Comfort and love to his family.

So sad. One of the magazine sites said he wasn't into hard drugs, but people don't realize how dangerous prescription pills are. And the pharm companies just bought off the FDA so Drs do not get specialized training before prescribing narcotics.

RIP, a life too short by far.

I thought I've read that the "suicide note" is actually quite rare, so the lack of one doesn't mean that it wasn't suicide. Either way, sad way to meet the end.

So sad. Even when people are famous celebrities who act like douchebags, no one deserves the pain of losing their kid like this.

Another one here with crazy dreams. I also read that they found two drawers filled with rx bottles, some very large bottles. Wow, how does that happen in these days of the Conrad Murray's? Meanwhile in the real world if I try to get a refill for something a few days early they make me come back when a full month has gone by.

What "Event" are ya'll talking about.. what did I miss?

@car54 - Noooo!!!! Just when I get my bearings it happens again.

To all the dreamers, I'm blaming it on the solar flares. My crazy dreams seem to ramp up during the big flares and we just had another on Thursday. Be careful ladies! Xenu is trying to get us. LOL!

PS - would be cool to keep track of all the dreamers / intuitives we have. There seems to be a lot of us :)

I lost my mom ten years ago to this nonsense ofprescription drug abuse......long time lurker to the site, but this has prompted me to speak. This type of drug abuse is so insidious, because it lies in this weird middle ground of being "justified" from medical professsionals who are just looking for a paycheck from the insurance companies. By the time the family figues out what is going on, it is often too late.. RIP to this kid;and to the millions like him every year....

Weird dreams here, too; I usually have vivid dreams, but last night's was scary, dangerous, and dark. I've been wondering about it all day!
