Lindsay Lohan Turns 26 Today
It's hard to believe that Lindsay Lohan is just turning 26 today. I feel like every year is 26 years when you are talking about Lindsay Lohan. She has packed more into her 26 years then most people would pack into four lifetimes. I'm just wondering how many more of these hard years she has left in her. To me, it doesn't seem like she is changing at all except that she is getting better at hiding most of her issues from the public. She had a quiet party last night, but I think she will probably do better later this week or next weekend. I just can't see her not getting into trouble during an excuse to party week.

I hope she acts out soon. I don't care about the Tom/Katie divorce so I need something and her nonsense is ALWAYS amusing to me.
The good news is - if she does "join the club" - we have 729 more days to hear about how she messed up again.
The bad news, if she "joins," we will never have the chance of seeing her have a life w/Tommyboy. I am still digging Big Mama's thoughts...lol

Every time I see a younger pic of her, I remember what Jodie Foster said about LiLo: "What happened to that girl? She had dreams and ambitions. Where did it go wrong?"
So messed up and seemingly no chance for redemption. Sad.
@FSP - I know the 27 club is really only for talented musicians but (and I know this sounds mean), I cannot wait for this self-important, smug, narcissistic trick to be off the radar. A better fate would be the media just ignoring her for the rest of her life. *sigh* That won't happen and she'll probably ruin someone else's life instead.

She will overdose next year. She is the type who sees herself as a persecuted martyr, because it's never her fault. Charlie Sheen at least owns up to what he does.
I can see why Scientology might be interested in offering auditing services to Lindsay, there has to be enough blackmail material in those 26 years to keep them in gold goblets, or whatever they use to drink the blood of mortals, for years. Probably the skeletons in Lindsay's closet make John Travolta's look like a parking ticket.
@finlay -- but does LiLo have any earning power left to pay for the goblets? I'm not sure if Scientology would accept how she earns her money these days
I don't think Dina would allow so much of her money to go to Co$, even if it meant they could help her career...because you can't help someone who doesn't want to get help, and lawd knows that whole family needs help...

I'm pretty shocked at the level of vitriol spewed here. I mean, sure, she's a mess, but she's self-destructive--not violent. And yet she gets the death wishes, and woman-beating Charlie Sheen gets a new show worth $1B.

Lindsay is like Charlie Sheen and Courtney Love. Someone on this site called her a cockroach and that should be the name of their little group--The Cockroaches of Hollywood.
Topper, she is violent. She gets drunk then gets into fights. Every single time she leaves the house and goes out partying and then getting behind the wheel of a car she is putting people at risk as well. She's also a thief.
I don't hate her, but it bothers me that she has been given so many chances, yet she doesn't seem to realize that she has to earn those chances. Hell, she apparantly couldn't even pose nude properly.
RDJ should really sit her down and have a talk.

That picture is depressing. It sucks that there was no one in her life who put her well-being ahead of ambition and greed. There are some people who have the inner strength and drive to get their act together despite being brought up by assholes, and with each passing year it becomes even less likely that she will turn out to be one of the lucky few.
I am also really pissed I can't enjoy The Parent Trap anymore. It's bad enough seeing Natasha (who was so beautiful in it) but, ugh, I see Lindsay's characters and it's all mug shots and hit and runs and shoplifted jewelry and cigarettes to me now. Way to take the fun out of a person's guilty pleasures, Lohan.
It's sad that someone who seemingly had a bright future due to real talent has ended up such a vapid, delusional, husk of a person.

So, it got me to thinking. I hate being a hypocrite...The one thing that stands out about Charlie is that he has a family who cares. They let him have enough rope, but they are there for him - including Denise, who once accused him of having child porn on his pc. Denise had/has parents who care about her. LiLo has a family that sees her as a meal ticket, and Chris Brown came from a horribly abusive background.
So I guess part of me feels that if the person admits - key word ADMITS that they have some screws loose and keeps trying - even w/slipups - then I won't give up. Ignoring all your issues all the time - blaming everyone else for your problems etc...no pass!
I'm actually kind of sad for the girl. With the parents she was dealt, she never had a chance.
After reading through plenty of CDN blinds about casting couches, predatory actors/directors/producers, I seriously wonder who got their hands on Lindsay first. She was easy prey in the younger days and certainly didn't have anyone looking out for her, ya know?
