As soon as the bridal party started walking out on that pier someone should have known this was going to turn out poorly and end up on YouTube. It's inevitable.

I like how a bridesmaid is helping the bride out of the water - imagine how heavy her dress became - the groom headed for shore without the bride. Says a lot about the marriage.

I think I know whose fault it was. It's the bridesmaid who was hiding behind everyone in the group shot towards the end of the video.

Please, please for the love of god, would someone please tell brides that the strapless look is not flattering?
They were great sports about it, especially the bride.
I didn't think the groom was that bad. He headed toward the other part of the dock and tried to help her out before heading to shore.
Yeah, mikey is right. Wtf groom? Shouldnt u be getting your bride instead if knocking people over to get to pier? Shes got something to torture him with for- well, forever, lol
@Faun - I hear you!!! I completely agree and was thinking the same thing. Why, why, why do they wear strapless goddamn dresses?? It (and they) look awful.
Strapless dresses are easier to make, easier to alter and, because of this and the fact that you use less materials when you don't have sleeves/straps, they cost less. Sadly, I suspect they are here to stay. (I hate them too.)
@Everyone...yup that should be an interesting marriage. Nothing like thinking of the one you vowed to love and honor above all after yourself. Good thingk the bridesmaid helped her.
I agree with Faun. Why does it seem like every bridal gown is strapless these days. We enjoy watching Say Yes to the Dress and that's all they show.

I don't think strapless is all that bad. Mine was strapless 11 years ago, when I was a skinny little thing. Now, all these years (and 4 kids later) I wouldn't be caught dead in one. Anyone with, uummm, meaty arms should avoid the look ;)
What Nosy says--a friend of mine makes ecologically correct wedding dresses out of hempsilk and/or recycled materials, and that's exactly what she told me when I asked why she didn't seem to be showing dresses w/sleeves any more. It seems as if most dresses for sale anywhere in any context (that is, not necessarily wedding dresses) are sleeveless these days, which stinks for those of us with "meaty" arms, or whose upper arms just aren't as young and firm as they used to be. *sigh*
I love the fact that they are all able to laugh about it. I bet the party afterwards was awesome!
No one got hurt and everyone laughed. It'll wind up being a terrific story for decades to come.
I paint bridal parties on wine glasses for head table sets and every single set I've painted for the last 3 years has been strapless. Bridesmaid dresses too I know a lot of the dresses look better on the glass than they do on the brides/bridesmaids.... :)
