Poor guy. We never really know what pain someone is trying to cope with and unfortunatly it can sometimes result in an end like this. RIP and many comforting thoughts to those he left behind.

Hot Fuss & Sam's Town were played SO many times, over and over... this is really sad - it is anytime takes their own life - but this guy was in my living room and my car, that makes it worse.

This is a complicated and very sad situation for not just the band, friends and loved ones. Please no snark on this; it's already incredibly hard to process for those who know him.

This didn't come out very well. I just mean to write that it's easy to speculate on events like this, and for people close to the situation it's hard to read any negative comments. I love most if the commenters and this site and I was a bit shocked to see this on here. So, please, just good thoughts to his friends and loved ones.

Very very sad. The Killers rock.

Why are so many talented people taking their lives these days? Does it seem to others like it's an epidemic? Or is the media just reporting it more. I know at one time it was verboten to write a story about a suicide. (McSpanky knows because McSpanky used to be a rather medium-big journalist and McSpanky knew about many suicides that could not be writ.)

Sigh. Rest in peace, dude.

Damn. This is heartbreaking. I hope he now has the peace he was aching for.

Very sad. McSpanky, that is the policy in Australia as well. When they do write they never write suicide just allude to it and they put phone numbers for organizations like Lifeline at the end of the article.
