Blind Items Revealed
September 19, 2011
#2 - This B- list television actor who had a couple of things going television wise in the past year had a date for the Awards but would not let her anywhere near the cameras. He told her to wait and the night was all about him and not them. He also told others that he did not want anyone to think he was dating anyone because it would be harder to pick up other women.
#3 - This C+/B- movie actress who has been doing television lately is still being shunned. To try and help matters she spoke to the actress who made the shunning happen and begged for her forgiveness.
#2 - Kevin Dillon
#3 - Julia Stiles
Did she or didn't she sleep with Dexter?
ReplyDeleteI thought Kevin was married...
ReplyDeleteAnd Julia apologized? Good for her! Too late, but still, good for her.
#2 - Once again, an Entourage actor is a douchebag...
ReplyDelete#3 - I actually liked Julia Stiles' role on Dexter. But I soured on her personally once I found out what happened between her and Micheal C. Hall. In my opinion, Jennifer Carpenter should never forgive either of them.
But I thought MCH was boinking someone from the crew not JS?
ReplyDelete@Jac...that's what I thought.
ReplyDeleteI thought Julia was just a distraction from something juicier?
ReplyDeletePlease don't let me live in a world where Kevin Dillon is B-. He's the main reason why I stopped watching Entourage (stop judging!).
ReplyDelete@Rita: Actually he is (or still going through) a divorce and he kicked his ex AND their children out of their house and forced them to get another residence (not as nice as their old place but not exactly a crack den).
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Kevin's horrible show got canned after 3 weeks.
ReplyDeleteIf the appology is sincere than it should be forgiven. We all make mistakes, sometimes horrible ones.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind seeing Julia Stiles shunned awhile longer.
ReplyDeleteNot that I'm at all defending Julia, bit why wasn't Dexter shunned? Double standard bullshit.
ReplyDeleteI always like Julia Stiles, I'm glad she apologized, and hope she doesn't make that mistake again.
ReplyDeleteDidn't MCH cheat w/ Jennifer while married?
@Michael - thanks! I was wondering about that one. An all over classy guy, isn't he?
ReplyDeleteWho would've thought Drama was a bigger douche in real life.
It is double-standard bullshit in this way: the woman who plays Deb already is in a relationship where SHE's the other single woman shitting all over a married woman. And I'm sure it never occurred to her for one second that the wife would launch a campaign for Hollywood to shun HER.
ReplyDeleteit's the husband who is married ,not the girl (it's a quote of Carla Bruni Sarkosy in answer to her Mick Jagger's affair)
ReplyDeleteWho's Jennifer in a relationship with now?
ReplyDeleteKevin Dillon? How long ago was this? Because, without Entourage, he's pretty much a nobody.
ReplyDeleteHBO has been showing a marathon of all the seasons of Dexter and there were interviews where Jennifer and Julia were all loved up with each other and said all the rumors were false.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is they are shunning Julia on the set because I can't see the wife (don't know her name) isn't powerful enough to make others care.
ReplyDeleteI was a little taken aback when we first heard this blind, WHY would Julia Stiles be shunned when this is common practice in Hollywood? Especially since Jennifer Carpenter cheated with MCH when he was married.
ReplyDeleteAlthough a good old fashioned shunning is waaay archaic, who is to say that the wife didn't try to get MCH shunned as well? He's the star so unfortunately JS reaped all of the hate. Unfortunately, life isn't fair and equal but if the genders were reversed in this situation, I could see the same scenario playing out.
ReplyDeleteI always liked Julia, became a fan in the Bourne movies. I'm glad she apologized, not many would have.
ReplyDeleteCheaters cheat. I do give kudos to MCH and Jennifer for their acting on Dexter this season, considering the history, you would never know they have been through so much drama of their own.
I don't know about that, anita_mark. The wife got a fair bit of sympathy and admiration during the cancer episode, as I recall.
ReplyDeleteNo effing way, Michael C. Hall is straight?
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, but I think it makes Jennifer Carpenter looks like a very bitter, ugly person to act in the way that she has. I'm not condoning the cheating, but she should rise above it! All this shunning and what not is EXTREMELY junior high!
ReplyDeleteWasn't Jennifer the one MCH cheated on his first wife with?? Then Jennifer call foul on Julia? I'd call it Karma being a bitch with puppies.
ReplyDeletePomme, that's the bullshit argument all sluts use when caught having sex with someone who's married. They are both adulterers, no matter which one is married.
ReplyDeleteBigMama, I doubt the apology was sincere. Stiles only wanted forgiveness so her career could begin to recover, since she got a ton of bad press over the whole affair.
Here's a wild idea, people -- don't intentionally do crap you know is wrong. Then you won't have to apologize for it later. It's not that hard.
Also, my massage therapist says Stiles looks like a chipmunk with Down Syndrome. Politically incorrect, yes, but damn funny.
Chrissy, have you ever been cheated on? If so, did you just go merrily on your way? If you did, then congratulations, you aren't like 99% of the other people in the world. If my (hypothetical) husband ever cheated on me, I would make him and his little piece pay for it however I could.
ReplyDelete@Cecilia, I agree but I don't think she has any power to make anyone outside their show shun her. There's a lot of deplorable people in the entertainment industry but as long as they can generate money, they're tolerated.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm the only person that doesn't watch Dexter. I don't like how violent it is and I can't stand him.
I can't wait for the reveal on the A actress who doesn't interact with her sick child!!! Hope this one will be revealed today.
ReplyDelete@anita_mark - I don't think she's "making" anyone shun JS, but just that sympathy would cause people to take her side. I don't think JS has enough money-making capacity to encourage people to tolerate her actions (whereas MCH is the star of his show), so the sympathy for the wife wins, and JS takes all the flack.
ReplyDelete@Cecilia, agreed. This would be way more interesting if either woman had power.
ReplyDeleteTexshan - I agree with most of what you say (and it doesn't apply to this exactly) but there are occasions when married people (men or women) have affairs and the other party doesn't actually know that the person is married. Unless you know otherwise, you can only take the persons word that they are single - that to me does not mean the other person is a slut.. In that case it is the married person to blame in all entirety.
ReplyDeleteOh, abruptlemon, I totally agree. If you are dating some master of deception who manages to cover up the fact that they are married, then no, you can't really be held responsible.
ReplyDelete@Texshan, I'm not suggesting she go 'merrily on her way', but it just seems like she is stooping to a low level. This is just my own personal opinion, and I don't really expect anyone else to share it.
ReplyDeleteBut I do agree when you say don't do crap you know is wrong, I'm with you on that one!
Can't stand either Stiles or Dillon. He's a terrible actor and she just comes off as smug. She got hers, I'm sure he'll get his eventually ;)
ReplyDeleteSo was Entourage a documentary with everyone just being themselves?
ReplyDeleteYes, it's sleezy to hook up with a married man, but as so many have pointed out, they aren't the ones who said the vows! Taking it out on the woman because the man is too powerful to hurt is bullshit.
ReplyDeleteUm, I think Julia Stiles was aware that MCH was married to Jennifer Carpenter, in light of the fact that all three worked together. And can I just say how much I hated Lumen? What a craptacular season that was. This past season was pretty "meh" up until the last minute. Holy shit! I can't wait for next year. Also which bastard producer waited until the 2 stars were divorced before making Deb fall in love with her brother? Come on.
ReplyDeletewho knew Jennifer Carpenter had that much power in Hollywood?
ReplyDeleteI still don't get it, I thought MCH was dating someone from the crew of his show and that's why he got divorced. Besides, wasn't Julia Stiles dating David Harbour at the time (and still is, apparently)?
ReplyDeleteSo, the old rule of not shitting where one eats sould have been applied...
ReplyDeleteI am surprised Carpenter has enough power to get Julia shunned, at least outside of the Dexter set.
Also, did not know Carpenter and MCH hooked up while he was married! Once a cheater, always a cheater...
Oh, forgot to add... I totally thought this was Gwyneth and Kate Bosworth. Gwyneth can and has had people shunned before... *coughMADONNAcough*
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize that Jennifer Carpenter had that much power in Hollywood. Now Jennifer C is sleeping with a married man, Angelina's first ex husband.
ReplyDeleteI do not believe Jennifer Carpenter has this much power. I love her as Deb, I love the show, I didn't like Lumen, etc... but I honestly do not believe she has this much power in Hollywood. Aside from Dexter her resume is some theatre and a lot of straight to DVD horror flicks, other than the Exorcism one which did ok. So... I'm sorry, I don't think MCH is an angel, I don't doubt cheating happened here, but I think it's wierd that now ENTY has 3x revealed this MCH/JC/JS blind.... any chance Jennifer Carpenter is someone who gives him intel???? Otherwise I really don't get it.
ReplyDeleteAnd on the plotline of the current season tip, MCH is an exec producer. So he is one of the sick people who thought this "incest" plotline would be a good idea-- and certainly not make anything awkward for JC at all :)
Do we know for sure it is the MCH thing she is being shunned for?
