No Amy Winehouse Movies Ever
Mitch Winehouse, Amy Winehouse's father, said in a recent interview that there will never be an Amy Winehouse movie. It is not that he can stop people from making one, but he can decide who gets to use her songs. He says that he will never agree to let her songs be used in a movie about her. I'm not sure why that is. I think an Amy Winehouse movie would be great. I'm not sure the book Mitch is writing about Amy will be all that revealing or say some of the things that should, and need to be said. I'm not sure Mitch even knows everything. In fact, I am pretty sure he does not know everything. I'm also actually surprised that Blake Fiedler Civil has not tried to sell a book about Amy. I think his would be the most interesting. Of course, if he wrote one and then got money from selling it, we would all be giving money to the guy who got Amy hooked on drugs in the first place which eventually led to her death.

Blake Fielder knows how to write? He might consider the possibilities when he sobers up.
Going back to a blind from a couple of years ago ... I wonder if Amy was the HIV + singer. I remember the comment was on Independence day here in the U.S. and it was an "ironic" day. I think Amy was in prison or something to that
i think blake announced he is going to write a book. But he is in prison and has to wait until he can get out so a ghost writer can actually write something that makes some kind of grammatical sense.
Of course Blake's version he will be the victim not the villian.
Give it 5 years and I bet Mitch changes his story.

Yeah, I wouldn't really take much notice of what her father has to say in a book, sure he might know everything about her early years but what kid tells their parents EVERYTHING when they get older????
Blake got himself hooked on drugs, Amy got herself hooked on drugs. The thing about addicts is they love to blame other people and part of the recovery is the ability to take responsibility.
Don't blame someone else for her decision making.

@Jenny Being able to write doesn't exclude you from being a author. Don't forget Snooki is a NYT best selling author! She spews random shite in to a dictaphone and someone turns it in to a book. Presumably while fighting suicidal urges.
Alcoholism lead to Amy's death, not drugs.
