Zoe Saldana Dumps Her Boyfriend
11 years after first starting to date, Zoe Saldana called it quits with her boyfriend yesterday. Why on a Saturday she felt the need to release a statement is interesting. Most people would wait until a weekday so it does not get lost in the shuffle. Now, you may say to yourself, well maybe that is why she did it on a Saturday, to get lost in the shuffle. I would agree with you, but then why release anything. How many of you knew she had a boyfriend for the past ten years. Except for some interviews after Avatar, she has pretty much kept it quiet. They could have just broken up quietly and most people would not have even known. It would have been like when Eva Mendes split with her boyfriend. No one really knew. The next thing you know you just saw her dating other guys. I wonder after so long together if one wanted to get married and another did not. I have heard that Zoe's now ex could be just a little controlling and maybe with her becoming so big, that control was starting to slip.

Maybe that was her not-so-subtle way of letting it be known that she was back on the market.
I find her incredibly gorgeous. I hope she stays single for a long time (smart) and then hooks up with someone who treats her like a queen. (Not putting my own personal stuff on her or anything like that... been single for a year now... thinking now may be the time to start dating. The thought of it doesn't make me want to vomit anymore, so there's that.)
EmEye ... I agree. I've been single a very long time and people can never understand why. I don't find most people enjoyable on a long-term basis. Open to it? Sure.
I also think that in Zoe's case when you reach this level of fame things change. Look at Leona Lewis or Sophia Vergada. Success changes everything.

She has had such a bizarre career, always on the cusp of hitting it big, but never really making it. She's done some big films but always as part of a large ensemble.

I have to question the double standard here....Enty gave a male celebrity a hard time about a month ago (maybe Jonas Hill? Can't quite remember) because he broke up with his long term girlfriend, and suggested it was because he was big now, and therefore a jerk. Most of us agreed that there was no way to know why they broke up, and there could have been many reasons.
Why is Zoe not being held to the same standard? In her case it's okay and it must be the ex's fault? I love ya, Enty, but be fair.
