Noel Gallagher Hates Katie Holmes
When Noel Gallagher, formerly of Oasis, was in New York last week he had the opportunity to meet Adam Sandler who he loved. At Letterman he also got to meet Steve Martin who he said was great. Katie Holmes? Not so much. On his blog, Noel wrote, "We literally bumped into that top Scientologist Katie Holmes on the way into the studio. We came out of the lift and BANG, there she was. Now at this point my mate, and friend of the stars, Scully was doing a bit of filming for my website and managed to capture the moment. Katie looked a bit miffed at the various North-West accents and some vigorous handshaking. There was no need to send one of her people over to demand the video be deleted!!!! Unf***in'-believable."
You would think that Katie would lighten up at some point. It is not like she is ever going to confuse her with someone who has fun. In the past year, there have been maybe five photos of her smiling and three of those were probably gas. Is Noel Gallagher a bit obnoxious? Yeah, but much less so now that his career has taken a dive.

Noel Gallagher, great artist, yes, decent man, no. And he has proven it quite often, the way he publicly fights with his brother, band mates, managers, and everyone else he comes in contact with. Amusing, but very ungracious bully.
Am not a fan of Katie Holmes, but I also put it in perspective what's it like to meet the obnoxious N. Gallagher, who is not known for his gracious behavior, and says the worst things and the worst time.
Katie has never given me a chance to criticize her behavior, but Noel Gallagher has, often.
That being said, I remember that show, it was the one where Letterman raved, many-many-times, at the best comedy he has ever seen to Adam Sandler: Jack and Jill.
Lost all respect to Letterman that night.
Also, there's nothing wrong with Katie if she didn't want to be in a video on his website. I work in video production and we have to get people to sign releases to use their images...
I wouldn't want some stranger I bumped into on an elevator to film me for his blog.
I'm surprised the network allowed them to openly do it, wasn't Letterman always getting stopped in the lobby when he tried to film there?

I have to side with Katie on this, love his music but what an a-hole! I wouldn't want to be associated with him on any level. Very much a "he said - she said" moment
Not entirely related to this post, but I think Katie's head is way too big for her position in life. The only reason she is getting some of these roles and appearances is because she is Mr Cruise and signed that contract. None of this attention is earned outright IMO.
Yeah, Noel Gallagher aside, Katie Holmes needs to remember her true place in all this: WHORE for the money, and that is all.
She agreed to a contractual marriage, whether it's to her "lifelong crush" or not. For which she is getting paid one way or another. Whore.

I have no doubt that Noel Gallagher was much more of a jerk than her side of the story would lead us to believe. However, Katie should have just let it go. What would have been the big deal about showing up on his blog? It makes me wonder what kind of diva behavior she is trying to hide. And agree with losing respect for Letterman if he really said "Jack and Jill" was the funniest movie he'd ever seen. Just based on the commericals I've seen it looks like one of the worst movies ever.
I should have said "his side of the story would lead us to believe" not "her side". Hope Noel doesn't read this blog. He would go ape shit over being refered to as a woman.

i can't bag on katie here b/c she doesn't play the entitlement card. i also don't think it's about her needing to 'lighten up'. and i think selenakyle is beyond wrong in calling her a whore. what a disgusting and demeaning thing to say (and makes me question if that is simply an auto character projection of those who state such). whether or not katie is in a contractual marriage or not has no bearing on having to put up w/ douchebags who tape her w/o consent.
Ugh, not a fan of either, but I'm not taking Noel's side without knowing more for sure. For all we know, he ripped into her about being a Scientologist or being married to the world's smallest little action star - it could have been any one of a million reasons why she would want that encounter deleted.
I normally can't stand either Gallagher brother (mainly because they are City fans), but on this one I have to side with Noel. Reading the whole post, he was saying how he was having an amazing time, getting somewhat starstuck meeting Sandler, Martin, Letterman etc who were all more than happy to have the banter with him. I agree Katie didn't have to be in his footage, but think of the cred she could have claimed by having abit of fun for once. She really does forget that without that contract she would be a few rungs lower on the 'oul Hollywood ladder.
And Enty, Noel's career is anything but in a dive. His new band's getting raves in the UK and they have sold out their new tour. They aren't at Oasis level yet, but Noel's career is not in decline in the least.
Letterman said he liked Jill and Jack? Yeah, that is outrageous. That trailer was beyond painful. Did anyone see the Sandler interview on the Daily show? Man, he looked beat
I was more shocked by the lameness of Noel Gallagher's blog. There were so many explanation points and boring anecdotes that I felt like I was reading the diary of a tween girl. This is why many celebrities should avoid social media: their personas are SO much more interesting than the real thing.
