Demi Moore And Drug Problems?
If you read between the lines in the latest issue of Life & Style, they claim that number one, Demi Moore's kids are firmly on the side of Ashton Kutcher. I find this very hard to believe. What daughter is going to say, "Yay, thanks for cheating on my mom. She totally deserves it." Their other claim is that Demi Moore is battling substance abuse issues and they quote a "friend" saying that Ashton might have hooked up with Sara Leal (Enty note: and so many others) but his number one goal remains helping Demi with her problems. Uh huh. And the best way to do that is? You got it. Sleep with as many women as possible. That is sure to help her with her issues.
I will say the cover of Life & Style promises all kinds of goodness. You know the best part? No Angelina, Jen or Kardashians to be found. I think I hear angels singing somewhere.

I doubt Demi has substance abuse issues. She is too vain to "ruin" her looks with that shit. Plus, she was the one who got Bruce sober years ago.

I have to admit I got sucked into a marathon of Teen mom a couple of weeks ago while sick on the couch. That Amber person? Just really vile, inside and out. Like, rotting inside.
Superficial is claiming today that Demi is drinking. I guess this split is going to be nasty, then?
She has three daughters all rather plain...think there might be a jealousy issue ?
Now, I can see Demi possibly getting hooked on pain pills after a cosmetic surgery gone awry (nerve problems, etc. as I hear can happen---remember Ivana Trump supposedly had a lot of facial pain after her big face lift in the 90's?).
But not drinking or hardcore drugs. Can't see it.
I'm more interested in why Jacqueline quit housewives, and would love to know the "real dirt".
She has had a lot of embarrassing moments recently (remember her awful dancing?) Still, she does seem to be able to pull it together when she wants to.
Aren't the girls all grown up at this point? I thought they were close to Demi. I can't see them siding with Ashton on this.
demi - I kind of agree with parissucks. she's spent so much time and money perfecting her looks to just throw it away so easily. but IF she is doing something, at her age it'll start showing on her face soon enough.
the teen moms - whaaattt? you mean mtv gave these irresponsible teenagers a bunch of money in exchange for allowing them to be exploited and now they'd rather go party than be with their kids?!?!? what a surprise turn of events.... *eye roll*

Demi had a coke habit back in the 80's but I think she kicked it years ago. She partied hard in the brat pack days.
*snicker* When Enty said Ashton hooked up with Sarah Leal, I misread it the first time and thought it said Sarah Lee (you know, the cheesecake lady). had visions of a really tubbed out Ashton for a second!
Am I the only one who thinks it would be a GREAT idea for those teen moms to give up their kids and party? No, almost no teen moms have the maturity to do a good job of it. Better they give their kids to parents who really want to raise a child than struggle and get resentful towards the kid. Or worse, keep the kid and party anyway.
I could see Demi doing coke. I think I read she quit because a director (or such) told her she'd be fired otherwise so she went to rehab.
She doesn't have to worry about being fired anymore.
For a woman who wants to remain obsessively thin, there are two routes: compulsive self-hating exercise routines, and wonderful indulgent afternoons and evenings of amphetamines and cocaine. I don't see Demi Moore as a self-hater, so ...
@Sis - I read she left b/c she was over it and the whole reality thing. Caroline Manzo was on WWHL last night and I get the feeling neither her nor Jacqueline are speaking to Teresa anymore.
I find it hard to believe about Demi's kids, also. The youngest one is 17. They know what's up.
Demi was very close to being fired from St. Elmo's Fire because she was showing up to the set high. She cleaned up quickly and even help Ally Sheedy get off sleeping pills a few years later.
Here's something I find very interesting: In the 80's Demi was engaged to Emilio Estevez. Emilio is Charlie Sheen's brother. Ashton gets hired for Charlie's job and then dumps Demi. Boy, everything does come around full circle, doesn't it?
I can actually believe the daughters would be on Ashton's side. A) he's closer to their age and probably gets along great with them. B)Demi just always seems to be competing with them 'has to be the prettiest in the room' that can't be healthy. She seems stuck in her early 20's. Is it a shock that someone who loves her plastic surgeon so much may have a drug problem?

When people divorce it seems like everyone wants a rock solid reason why one of the people is to blame. If there isn't one, that makes the person who left the bad guy.
In reality that's just not the case. My ex husband was verbally abusive, anyone who spent more than casual time with him knew it, which means not many people knew it. He was also stubborn and a crappy lover. I left because I couldnt STAND HIM! He was a jerk and I no longer liked him.
I hated to hear him talk, I cringed when he touched me, and the thought of never having good nookie unless I was by myself made me sink even deeper into depression. I was miserable! If I didnt leave him I was going to lose it. I couldn't be a good parent because I couldn't make myself be even mildly happy. The drugs were helping but they weren't enough. Counceling hadnt really helped. I lost interest in everything and lost a ton of weight. Thats why I left my husband, I hated being with him because I no longer liked him. No one big thing, just many years of little things.
Well if Demi is drinking then at least she is ingesting some calories...

I think Caroline talked Jacqueline into quitting. Caroline is over it, and Jacqueline is easily led.
Selenakyle beat me to it. She has has so much surgery, and with each surgery comes pain medications. She may be on constant pain relievers, which may explain her hollow gaunt look and crepey/crappy looking face. That, combined with not eating to stay thin would do it.
@Mooshki - I can see that. Caroline seems like she can be VERY persuasive.
