Today's Blind Items
This former Tweener has been talking the talk about being rehabbed, but is nowhere close to walking the walk. Either that or coke is part of the plan. When someone asked the Tweener about it, the reply was that its just when they are out. It is not like they are sitting in their room doing it all day. That is not what the Tweener's friends say.
Oh, Demi. :-(
ReplyDeleteThis makes me sad. I haven't ever heard the girl speak or sing, but I think she's SUPER beautiful, and I just feel protective over young women -- particularly when they're open and honest about their struggles. It must be terribly difficult to be a young adult in front of the world. I just hope she manages to avoid the descent into Lohanhood.
Sounds like Demi to me too. She seems to have some deep-rooted probs.
ReplyDeleteThanks to one of my little ones, I've seen Camp Rock a jillion times and Demi was pretty good.
Demi or Miley came to my mind.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Demi. And I would say that I was surprised but I am not.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Demi.
ReplyDeleteShe's replaced bulimia with cocaine as a weight control method. She got very chunky right after rehab and appears to have lost some of that weight. But her face still has that suspicious "bloat" to it.
Demi, and this makes me very sad. She had it all, and is flushing it down the drain.
ReplyDeleteshe did NOT get very chunky after rehab...she looked normal and healthy. Maybe people told her she looked chunky and that's why she started in on the coke.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lori. Her body was normal, but probably not for Hollywood's twisted standards. The poor girl doesn't stand a chance if she insists on playing the fame game like this.
ReplyDelete@Lori -- "she did NOT get very chunky after rehab...she looked normal and healthy. Maybe people told her she looked chunky and that's why she started in on the coke."
ReplyDeletePrecisely. Thank you.
definitely demi. she has somehow stayed slim after rehab and i have no heard her say one thing about a healthy eating and workout regime. shes also been out a lot with young former tweeners like jo jo and what not. poor thing....
ReplyDeleteI don't think this will stop -for people like both Demi and (dont hate me for mentioning her name but) Lindsay either UNLESS they move the fuck outta LA.
ReplyDeleteWhile I'm not from there I DO go up like four times a year and I have friends there and honestly even non-celebs in LA have serious serious access to coke. Friends that went to Cal State Northridge, who live in Van Nuys, Venice etc...its just EVERYWHERE and offered up pretty damn easily.
Its sorta like if a recovering alcoholic kept living in Vegas or something. You just cant remain where so much coke use is so damn prevelant.
btw- I DO NOT keep company with cokeheads but people my age and a little older who have normal jobs and are struggling students (like myself) and yet when we go places the coke just magically appears (it seems like).
ReplyDeleteSo i cannot imagine how intense the coke scene must be for celebs.
p.s. lol, I feel like I should also mention that I'm not a cokehead.
ReplyDeleteThat drug is verrry addictive. I've seen just how and I've steered clear since~
It's everywhere, not just in L.A...it's not an expensive, exclusive drug anymore, it's available and affordable to most.

ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure all the CDANers who've ever worked in the restaurant business are furiously nodding in agreement at Jasmine's comments -- particularly those of you out in CA.
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe I escaped the food biz without snorting a single line. Seriously. Every night around closing time, a white plate wth several lines would just magically appear, and the servers/cooks would huddle around the bar and hoover it all up. And that was YEARS ago, in a little town in Virginia. I cannot IMAGINE how freely the booger sugar flows out there in L.A.
What's really weird to me is how nonchalantly coke is treated by people who recreationally use it -- like it's just a little bit more intense than weed or something. I've done my fair share of chemical experimentation -- and I'm *really* not trying to sound too judgmental -- but pot might make you stupid and hungry, but it can't KILL you.
I've always been terrified of coke. I guess all those lectures from Nancy Reagan during my youth really worked on me! The most hardcore drug I've ever done is DMT (and, uh, it was awesome), but I'm sort of just *over* feeling fucked up for any amount of time.
Coke was everywhere in college. Everywhere. It's as easy to get as pot. I couldn't stand the way people acted on coke. People were just really chatty and hyper, glassy eyes, and always ALWAYS sweating. It was repulsive. I never touched the stuff.
ReplyDelete@Ida and Jamee- thats SO funny that you mentioned it but at college parties AND if hung out with restaurant peeps (waiters, bartenders, hell even busboys) there was bound to be coke.
ReplyDeleteAnd Ida you are so right- even in Nor Cal where I live, I've heard from almost all my friends that work in the restaurant biz that after hours its coke time. And people who have dealers usually found them from a friend of a friend who worked at or knew someone at a restaurant.
What is UP with that?
Weird
I live in Colleyville Texas, this is Demi and it has been a long term issue
ReplyDeleteWell here is Demi last night:

So you decide.
@jasonblueeyes....uhm yea she is thinner than when she was bullemic.... so sad!
ReplyDeleteI live in the HEART of the Bible Belt, and coke is all over the place here, too. I can only imagine what it's like in Hollywood. I'd love the weight loss, but like most of you posted above, people on coke repulse me! Plus, most of the coke users that I know only use it to "manage" their alcoholism. About to pass out, but want to keep drinking? Do a line. Too hungover, but really have to go to work? Do a line. I can't stand to be around them.
ReplyDeleteSo Demi is the next one saying: "No, no, no" to rehab? Sad
ReplyDeleteI agree with the obvious guess - Demi. If the other blinds are true about Disney girls, then she's probably been seduced and heartbroken by some old fart who works on the set. Tossing your kid to the showbiz wolves is a pretty good way to ensure they become messed up human beings. Hope I'm wrong and all those terrible blinds are wrong.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I am completely clueless- or shielded-- but I have NEVER seen coke! I went to Ohio State (party school), worked in a restaurant for 4 years and married a pro-athlete (since retired) and I have seen a lot of marijuana use and of course a ton of alcohol. But NEVER coke, or anyone that I even thought was on it. I feel so out of the loop ;)
ReplyDelete@firebug, I also went to OSU. I lived off campus (though just off High St.), didn't hang out with anyone but other grad students, and never saw coke once. I think it's pretty easy to be "out of the loop" if it's not even on your radar. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and yeah, I agree that this is Demi, but it could fit LiLo as well (sorta--first he calls her a "former Tweener," then just a "Tweener," so which is it?), in which case this would be the WORST.BLIND.ITEM.EVER.
I must be the most naive person on the planet - I had no clue coke was so available or widespread. The only time I have ever been exposed to it was in college - many YEARS ago - when I saw some little vials on my boyfriend's dresser, and when I asked him what the powder was - he said it was chemicals for one of his chemistry classes. I believed him. I didn't have a clue.
ReplyDeleteMy drugs of choice are Diet Coke and M&M's.... I am such a nerd...lol.
Drew Barrymore for something different.
ReplyDeleteI've personally never taken it (but I can't say that I never would), but I know one or two people who have taken coke, and I live in a small-ish town in England lol.
ReplyDeleteAs for the blind, Demi seems the most obvious answer.
