Jay Cutler Dumps Kristin Cavallari
Jay Cutler must have finally watched an episode of The Hills and realized what he would be getting himself into for the rest of his life. Either that or he did not need fans in Chicago to find something else wrong with him too. For whatever reason, just a week after Kristin was Tweeting about her engagement party, the wedding has been called off, the ring returned and Kristin back in the club scene in Los Angeles hanging out with Nicky Hilton. Talk about falling off the deep end. I think there was one of two reasons they split. Either he found someone else or she was Kim Kardashian-ing the heck out of this wedding and he did not like what he saw. I do know that she did not seem that broken up about the whole thing this weekend. Shocked? Yes, but heartbroken? Not so much.

I was more surprised they even got engaged. I am not surprised they ended. I will say their gift registries were a good read, if you like that kind of thing, which I do. Although most of it has been taken off now. I wonder if they will be returning the gifts already purchased for them.
Or, perhaps, Cutler realized that Kristin will end up snorting tons more coke and sleeping around with John Mayer again while he's getting sacked during Bears games. No matter the reason, at least it's one less couple getting married, having kids, being debauched and ending up divorced. Good for all.

I would go with the second scenario-his dislike of public attention is well documented. THe Chicago media can barely get him to talk after a game so I can't imagine TMZ and tabloids getting in his business.

Kneepads is saying he was too controlling. She was still in the party scene & he wanted to know her every move. She was too young to get married anyway, so, probably a good thing.

As a loyal Bears fan, I was thrilled to hear this news. I'm still not a huge fan of Cutler, but he gained a few points with this move.
I'm waiting until a really big separation story hits like Ben and Jen, Ashton and Demi or Lindsay and delusion. Pfft. Nah, that last one's NEVER gonna happen.
