Kirsten Dunst And Her Mini-Intervention

Apparently Kirsten Dunst has fallen off the wagon and she did so in spectacular fashion. Nothing like a whole group of people seeing you literally fall down because you are too drunk to stand. It all happened last month at an after party for a maroon 5 concert. Of course if I went to a Maroon 5 concert I would probably have to drink myself through it too.

"She staggered around the room, bumping into furniture while trying to dance. She was completely out of it." Well, I am willing to say that even if she had not been downing vodka tonics, it can be tough to dance when there are a great number of people around. "At one point, Kirsten slipped, but her boyfriend Jason Boesel caught her before she hit the floor. Just a few minutes later, she fell headfirst into his lap, says the eyewitness."

OK, well yes, that might be a sign that you are drunk. What was probably even more embarrassing for Kirsten was after this all happened her friends took her aside and told her she needed to go back to rehab.

I never acquired a taste for booze, yet some people fiend for it. Hope she gets back on that wagon.

Maybe someone should stage an intervention for people who listen to Maroon 5. Seriously with that crap?

Ok...a gnarly drunk chick at a Maroon 5 concert.

And this is news....because...?

Well at least she HAS friends who give a shit. I don't think Lilo has ever had a friend tell her to get help.

I like Kirsten - get well hon!

100% agree with RocketQueen. KD is lucky to have friends like that.

Agree with what RQ and shakey said.

I'm with RocketQueen. I'm glad she got an intervention, no matter how small it was. This is a really sad story. On Halloween my friend ran into a guy we know from college. He was drunk off his rocker falling all over the place. She called one of the friends he was visiting and he said, "Not my problem." They all figured as long as he had his "friend's" address written on his hand, they weren't too concerned. Awful. People suck sometimes.

Aww, this is sad to read, I love Kirsten Dunst! I also happen to agree with the last three posters... Thank goodness she has friends that care enough about her to try & help. I really help she gets some help & I wish her all the best!!!

Well, I can't say I've never been drunk at a concert before...definitely not good that she was so bad off that she was falling down. :( Hope she gets it in check. I like her too.

Why do all those people have so many problems with drugs and alcohol?
Is it really so hard to be famous? Or is it what they have to do in order to become and stay famous?

She got kicked out of a bar in Sweden for being too drunk. This summer when she was filming "Melancholia."

When the Swedes say you're too drunk, it's bad.

Mina, I'm guessing with all the starvation/bulemia/ anorexia in Hwood, it would be hell to your body to ingest alcohol. Maybe she had a normal amount for someone who is healthy, but not for skinny minnies.

I'm guessing the same diet causes incredible bitchiness as well. If Michelle Trachtenberg ate 2 sandwiches per week, would she become a nicer person? And less pale?

I love Maroon 5, sorry guys! I don't see anything wrong with them.

it's ok Lissette, you're not alone ;)

Is it not amazing that in 2010, after we've had enough chance to see her in a movie and all of us have passed dozens of times, that we are still talking about this person? I can't stand her. Her movies are crap, and drunk or sober, her personal life is boring. As I reread what I've written, it sounds harsh, but -- why am I always being forced to read about her when there are people who actually make movies or who spiral out of control in more interesting ways?

Phew! I was starting to think that I'd have to move my Maroon 5 songs into my iTunes 'Folder of Shame' along with JHo, Asslee, LiLo and the Spice Girls.

@Barton. I can only speak for myself but I like KD, and drinking aside she has managed to transition from child star to adult actress pretty well with few pitfalls.

People have mentioned bitchiness from her in the past, but she seems pretty normal from what I have read. And besides, a hangover can make you pretty venomous. At least she has some good friends trying to help her.

Just a few minutes later, she fell headfirst into his lap...

From her publicist: "No, of course she wasn't drunk. She's been clean and sober for several years now. She was simply giving him a blow job."
