Ben Harper Dumps Laura Dern
I don't know what it is about Laura Dern but she seems to have the worst luck when it comes to the way guys leave her. First Billy Bob Thornton went to film a movie and never came back and now, Ben Harper files for divorce on Friday afternoon even though according to TMZ the couple has been living together and were intimate as recently as last week.
In his filing Ben says the couple have been separated since January and wants to make sure the judge denies Laura any spousal support. If they have been acting as husband and wife and having sex Ben is going to have a hard time making that January separation thing stick. So, I wonder what happened that a sudden filing was needed. Does one of them have someone new? That would seem the most likely. Maybe Ben has someone new and the person is pregnant so to look good he has to say he and Laura separated back in January.
The couple has two kids.

Ok, first off. He is an ugly dirtbag, and NEVER deserved her. What a puke. Now he is ditching her?
Don't care for either of them. He cheated with her and got her pregnant while still married to his pregnant first wife. Then they just went public with their relationship as if no big deal. That sickens me to see these cheaters flaunting their relationships for all to see, aka Kelsey Grammer, Leanne Rimes, etc, etc... Laura also was with Billy Bob Thornton when he was still married to his 3rd wife and had young kids. Then she complains he dumped her for Angelina Jolie. I guess what goes around comes around. Poor mixed up kids.

Laura needs to stop playing the victim. I cannot believe she told TMZ when she last had sex with him.
If she wants to keep sleeping with married men, she needs to accept they will eventually burn her ass too.
Me thinks he has a preggo piece on the side as that theory seems to fit his MO. Had no idea about the origin of his relationship with his soon-to-be-former wife, Ms. Dern, nor her proclivity for breaking up marriages. Not good ..
But .. I love the spousal support deal [and understand legally why he would put that in a filing]but the idea he has more money than her ..laughable!
I read on another site that they attended Eddie Vedder's wedding in Hawaii last month, so were definitely together at least for that week. Kinda stupid to make a public appearance like that and then claim to be separated. They should try to work it out. It seems like they deserve each other.
I was feeling sorry for Laura Dern but reading that she has been screwing around with married men, that is a no-no.

TMZ writers and editors are dumbasses. They were going by the legal filing. And yet it never occurred to them that he was referring to a legal separation. She wasn't fucking blindsided by anything.
I have no sympathy for Dern, because she wrecked two marriages, Billy Bob and this guy's first one. They are both losers in my view. Now I am waiting hear when Mr. Julia Roberts is going to dump her horse face ass. She did the same thing to his wife Vera, remember?
I never understood this pairing. Laura is ugly and he is *hot*. Only a matter of time.
