Band Blocks Freeway - Get Arrested

I am all for publicity stunts and ways to get your band or project noticed, but when you intentionally cause a traffic jam and possibly endanger lives then I think you have gone too far. Around 10am this morning the band, Imperial Stars, swung their bus around and intentionally blocked one of the busiest freeways in America. It does not matter what time of day or night the 101 always has lots of cars. I can't even imagine how they were able to get sideways without causing an accident. Traffic soon backed up for miles and miles as these guys got up on top of their bus and started singing their song Traffic Jam. They have been arrested.

Some Douchebag producer will get them a job someplace. As for me, they already stink on ice because they think they are so self-important.

I was at a restaurant at a very busy intersection, and there was a bridal party who kept running into the middle of the street to have pictures taken in front of all the cars they were blocking. SO DOUCHEY!!!!

What's the difference between these folks and the blog from yesterday about the company paying naked dude $1M to streak in front of POTUS? Nothing. Both are stupid publicity stunts, and both are horrendous.

Valerie, while I agree with you in principle. They were both publicity stunts, but the streaking didn't make people late for work, miss flights, or prevent emergency vehicles from gettting to accidents or fires. The streaking was harmless, tacky, but harmless. The idiots blocking traffic caused lots of people real problems and could have injured or killed people.

I am glad they got arrested.
