Lindsay Lohan Update
All the tabloids seem to have a different story about Lindsay Lohan this morning so let me see if I can put them into some kind of cohesiveness.
The judge in Lindsay's case was ticked off at Lindsay and that is probably an understatement. She issued a warrant for Lindsay's arrest and set bail at $100,000. Wow. That is a huge bail for something like this.
The judge also said that if Lindsay does make bail, she can't consume any alcohol and will have a scram device placed on her and will be subject to random drug testing once per week.
Now, last night, instead of worrying about what was going to happen in Los Angeles this morning, X17 says Lindsay partied on a yacht until 5am.
Radar has a copy of an e-mail Lindsay sent begging her friends for the use of a private jet so she could come back to LA.
I need my friends, and people I work with to PLEASE help me get on a private plane tomorrow by at least 5pm. This is such a horrible thing that's happened to me and extremely unfortunate. My passports been stolen and the day before my court hearing. I would never ask such a thing, but if there's anything that I could ever ask of anyone, it would be to help me with this. I must get back on a jet to LA tomorrow. If anyone has planes leaving Nice/Cannes at any time after 11am when I get my passport, please, please, let me know if you can help me. On TMZ they have the judge saying that she has reason to believe that Lindsay has a drug and alcohol problem. In other breaking news water is wet.

Boohoo. The judge was ticked and it is about time someone holds this entitled, drug-addled brat accountable.
And just her passports stolen - nothing else? What a joke. The judge did not buy it and asked for proof of the plane ticket she bought but couldn't make because of the "lost" passport.
Lindsay is lucky that at least the court system will try to make her accountable since no one else in her life will. Just maybe she will get the help she needs and safe her own or someone else's life. I doubt it, though.
I'll be surprised if this time next year we are talking about Lindsay as a living person. However, I would have said the same thing a year ago.

I don't get the private jet email. Does she think that if you fly on a private jet you don't need a passport? Well, ya do. Her passport is safe and sound with one of her friends, or she destroyed it herself.

Regarding Lindsay's email plea for a private plane - I dare ANYONE to find a single person that email was sent to.

It's worth your time to watch the video on TMZ. The lawyer seems exasperated, and the judge seems like she ain't buying the bullshit.
This just got interesting.
Maybe she can stay in France with Roman Polanski until she's old and withered, and then get all her old friends to sign a petition for leniency?

Susan, I felt bad for her lawyer. Whatever Lindsay is paying Shawn Haley Joel Osment, or whatever her name is, it isn't NEARLY enough.

Her whole attitude is summed up in one phrase: "This is a horrible thing that's happened to me and extremely unfortunate." Things happen to her. Nothing is ever her fault. I hope they arrest her at customs and take her out of the airport in shackles.

Once Paris Hilton went on Larry King and did the TV show circuit tour, she kind of...went away.
She can't make the mags like she used to.
Even at her worst, Paris seemed to not be as big of a mess as Lindsey, IIRC. I always felt Paris' drama and antics were staged. She's not an addict.
That said, she did kind of fall of the face of the earth, thank Gawd.
But, I don't know if it was immediate. Didn't she release her music after her jail time? And, then there's always her shoe line, which is still in stores. She's just not as much of a publicity whore as she was.
I hope they do arrest her. Whether her passport was stolen or not, she shouldn't have left the country when she had a court date coming up. I realise it was Cannes and she had to "work", but still. There's the ash situation. Anything can cause delays - it's a transatlantic flight. If you have a court date coming up, I say don't risk it by leaving the country. She is being stupid and irresponsible. I used to root for her but I really hate it when people won't take accountability and fix whatever situation they're in when it's fixable.
Upon reading my post, i realise that I'm not sure if "take accountability" is correct English.

I dont typically go to or watch TMZ, but I did watch that "live" thing they did on Lindsey and that dude Harvey looks like he's on something. Anyone else watch that or is he just ADHD?
Exactly, Harriet. Court date coming up in a few days, you KNOW you have not finished your alkie-ed classes (her attorney admitted it, according to TMZ) but you go flitting off to France, where you really don't need to go, and even though you are totally distraught at the stolen passport, you still manage to pull yourself together and go to a party on a yacht until 5:00 a.m. These are not the actions of a responsible adult. And she is damned sure old enough to take a little responsibility.

I hope for once, that Lindsay gets her ass thrown in jail. Too bad she couldn't have drawn the judge that threw RDJr in jail for a few years.

What an idiot. Sounds to me like she had absolutely no plans to meet this court date, and all her excuses were pre-arranged. Oh it was the volcano. Oh, wait, I lost my passport. I call bullshit and I am glad the judge is planning on having her arrested.
i just have to say that the image of polanski and linds hiding away in some cottage in switzerland made me laugh... they could take turns keeping a shot gun poiting at the door and looking through the curtains..
Does anyone REALLY believe she'll do more than a few days in jail? Come on. The justice system gives in to celebrity every day, why would this time be any different? She'll go to jail for maybe 2 days and then get out and go right back to what she was doing before. Yawn.
Sadly, I do really believe she'll be in longer than a couple days. I think we all know jail is the only option to save her life and I think her sentence will stick. Maybe not for the full 180 days or whatever but at least for a month or so.

i watched the press conference with michael lohan and lisa bloom. he didn't talk. and say what you will, but at least he fucking showed up. nobody else from her family did.

Everyone should call Judge Revel's office and thank her, in addition to letting her know that you think Lohan should not only be held accountable, but should be locked up to save her own life.
