Tamyra Gray Is Pregnant
As you know, I am not a big fan of the engagement or pregnancy announcements, but when I read that Tamyra Gray is pregnant, I decided to write up a little something. In case you don't remember, Tamyra was a finalist on the first season of American Idol. For some reason she didn't finish second. Kelly Clarkson was deserving of first, but Tamyra should have finished second instead of that Sideshow Bob looking Justin.
Anyway, since the show, Tamyra has shown class and had a career without going to extremes. She was on Boston Public and then she has been writing songs like crazy and doing well. She used the opportunity Idol gave her and has made a great living and doing it under the tabloid radar. She is married to the guy who used to be in Color Me Badd. No, not that guy, the other one. Hell, I don't know either. I do know that I hope their child learns how to spell bad properly.

She's married to the guy with the Kenny G. hair. Good for her that she's pregnant, but I find it hard to say much else nice about her. Except that she does have a very solid singing voice. She was friends with my roommates back when I lived in the NYC area and my roommates let her move in with us for a short period of time when she was in town - this was right before she went on Idol. She was such a demanding diva and couldn't stand to let anyone upstage her - to the point that she would just talk or sing loudly over the other person if she wasn't the center of attention. Overall just very annoying and rude. After a few weeks I asked that she find another place to stay.
However, I will say that we watched Idol when she was on the show and of course voted for her.

This is news why??? Even after the explanation of who she is, I still have no idea WHO.THE.HELL.SHE.IS.

He turned out to be a pretty succesful producer.
It is nice to see past AI people go on to have nice lives vs. the slippery slope of drugs and alcohol and end up on Celebrity Rehab.

ITA Enty. Tamyra should have been 2nd to Kelly. I think the voting was fixed so they could release her to film Boston Public.
