This Story Just Gets More Interesting
TMZ filled in a big piece of the puzzle I read about this weekend but they don't seem to know it is part of the puzzle. On Sunday I was flipping through the LA Times website and read a short blurb about how police had been called to a house on Mulholland Drive. The article said that the house was owned by a record company and that visiting rappers and producers stayed there while in town. Well, on Sunday night four people entered the house carrying guns and robbed the people who were partying there. Lots of people. At least twelve people were there and the robbers pistol whipped several. Even though police were called no one wanted to press any charges and they were not cooperative. I thought that was pretty damn strange and it sounded a lot more interesting than Lindsay Lohan getting drunk. I didn't hear anything more about it though until today when TMZ had a post up about how rapper Yung Berg was pistol whipped over the weekend while at a party. TMZ then describes how armed robbers crashed the party and I realized it was the same story the Times had run over the weekend with an extra piece.
It gets more interesting though because Berg's spokespeople say that Berg wasn't even in LA this weekend and was in Las Vegas and had no further comment. WTF? Seriously? To me this sounds like some people are scared of other people. No one wants to do anything or report anyone when four guys invade the house you are staying at and pistol whip you and rob you? There has to be lots more to this story and I want to know what it is.

it's not about them being scared, this is straight up hood shit - snitches is bitches, homie. there is an entire culture based around not snitching. i think it's funny when these big bad thugs need the police to save their asses, but won't cooperate afterwards.
Jeeze, I had to Google "pistol whip." We call that "blunt force trauma," in my hood.
This is so bizarre to me...it's like there's different "levels" but it's the same....there are the rich hood rats, the middle class hood rats, and the po' hood rats--the only difference is the amount of money they have.
I used to live in that neighborhood, there's a LOT of crap happening there that doesn't make the news...the first few months we lived there, there was a huge, huge DEA bust where they recovered drugs and a huge cache of guns just up the street. This was over 10 years ago, sounds like it's getting worse...glad I moved!
I could only scrounge up the ability to care about this clown if my life depended on it.
