  5. It is wrong .. I know .. but I really loved him as "Lenny" in "Strange Days." I just wanted to give him a bath then do wicked, wicked things to his body! : D - LOL!!

  6. I keep wondering why his name is pronounced "Rafe". Was that his parents choice? Or his? Is it a dialect thing? HELP ME.

  7. Sometimes I think he's hot as hell and other times he's too thin (I like my fellas a little chunky like our Enty).

The next to the last picture looks like it's from Maid in Manhattan and forgive me, but I own the DVD.

  9. His eyes...ohhh!! I could just melt. Sexy man!

  10. There are outrageous stories about his "needs" and they all involve females. Apparently his "needs" have to be met several times daily.

  11. Harriet: It's a dialect thing. I think he's been a bit more successful in getting people to say "Rafe" than Gerry Butler has been in trying to get the real pronunciation of his name (more like Jared than Ge-RARD)

  12. Isn't he the guy who boinks flight attendants in the lavatory?

Harriet, I think "Rafe" is the Welsh pronunciation.

His brother looks overly pretty to me. I thought Joseph was gay in Shakespeare in Love, but maybe Gwyneth just made him look that way.

  13. i don't find one thing about him attractive but he's a hell of a good actor.

  14. A Quantas flight attendant claims she did him in the loo.

The pronunciation of his first name is based on an old English pronunciation of Ralph.

  15. Ah, darling Rafe! I saw him on stage in London a few years before his big break in Schindler - gorgeous.

Then just before Schindler hit, I saw him again in Stratford-on-Avon in the Body Shop and was going gaga. My friend didn't understand what my problem was.

    Then Schindler opened.

She was gutted she didn't speak to him then!
    Hehehehehe

    Have a great day darling!

Harriet, the pronounciation of his name accords with loads others that don't match how they are written.

Generally (but not hard and fast)

The surname Featherstonehaugh is usually pronounced Fanshawe.

    Cholmondeley becomes Chumley

St.John is Saint John except when as either a first name or surname and is pronounced Sinjon.

    Knollys is Knowles

    Worcester is Wooster Hence
    Worcestershire is Woostershire

Blame all those different languages that have been incorporated and expanded on in the British Isles over the ages!

  18. Ralph has always fit into category #1 for me - men I think are hawt with clothes on but wouldn't look good naked. He has a beautiful face, though!

  21. Someone once told me that their family is believed to be descendants of the Royal Family but not in line to the throne because it was a mistress (or housekeeper) that got pregnant by someone royal. Whatever. I still most definitely would (and that goes for his skinny, effeminate brother too).

    Happy Birthday, boo!
