Amy Winehouse In St. Lucia = Fail
Have you ever had one of those dreams where you are either at work or school and you are unprepared and and people are just staring at you. You wake up and you just say thank you repeatedly that it was in fact a dream.
Well, unfortunately for Amy Winehouse it wasn't a dream. Although like most dreams she probably won't remember what happened over the weekend in St. Lucia. If her performance was supposed to be a thank you to all the residents of the island for putting up with her, it turned into a more eff you situation or, that she is apathetic towards them at best.
You probably heard the concert ended early because of weather. Well, it still lasted about an hour. The longest, most painful hour ever in the history of a live performance. It got so bad that people were actually hoping Jessica and Ashlee Simpson would be surprise special guests.
After watching the entire hour of the show, I have decided that nothing is better than the beginning to give you and idea of what happened. Below is the first 4:31 of the concert. The best words I can use to describe when watching it is uncomfortable. You feel like you are actually witnessing a melt down. Oh, and her backup dancers just never give up.

What ever talent she HAD is not very apparent anymore. She is not watchable.
Just awkward and weird, and NOT nice to listen to.
If I didn't already know who she is and what she USED to be capable of, I'd tell her not to quit her day job.
Such a talent, but hey the reality is there is another (talented one)waiting in the wings!

She just seems lost from the moment she walked on stage. What's with all the microphone moving at the start and the crazy chicken dance/walk??
I have to say though, I think there is still a voice there somewhere, she's just so out of it that she can barely hold it all together.

I'm not familiar with the song she was singing, so it was hard to tell at which points she was just "wigging" out and at which points she forgot/stop singing the actual words, but either way that was sad.
I have a bad feelin about this one... she's not 27 yet is she?Because I can unfortunately see her in the same club as Morrison, Joplin, Hendrix and Kobain :(
Man, I really feel for those singers..they just kept right on moving, putting out real effort. I would have just walked off and left her there. Those guys can't get paid nearly enough to put up with that crap. Shame...it's like she had no clue what she was supposed to do...
Her dancers need a raise. At least they showed up ready for work.

Oh god, what a train wreck, really painful to watch. About 1:35 in, she starts doing the Pee Wee Herman tequila dance and then looks like she's going to just peeing right on stage. Unbelievable. What a mess.
i don't feel sorry for her. she got hot too fast and just thinks she can do anything she wants. she'll burn through all her money (as she's already done to her nasal cavities and lungs) and it will be over. now they say instead of smoking crack, she's just a drunk. like that's better somehow. well, it's not. if she doesn't get it, then fuck her. i'm sick of these people with fame and money who piss it all away, or shoot it or drink it or snort it. fuck them all.

I know why she's famous now, but somebody tell me what made her famous in the first place? I just dont' see it.
I think it was probably the mike stand's fault, though. It just wasn't cooperating.
I'm getting my ass down to St. Lucia....clearly they don't much care for singers with talent.

She's ruined her voice and she's a drug addict and a drunk. What a waste and with her luck she'll live for years and years in poverty with nothing to show for a once promising career. Her parents could have saved her but they enabled her.
Is it me, or is Enty getting with the times nowadays (acronyms, 'fail' etc)...I can't wait until he tells Denise Richards to DIAF.
