Did They Have Sex When She Was 15?
I'm a little confused about the Roger Clemens affair with Mindy McCready. Oh, I'm not confused about whether they had an affair. Despite what Clemens' attorney says about it being just friends, I think we can all assume that is a big bunch of crap. I don't believe anything he says about anything since he keeps having one lie after another exposed.
What I'm confused about is the fact that Mindy has said that she met Roger Clemens when he was 28, married and had two kids. Well, that would have made Mindy about 15. Granted, my math isn't that great, but what was a 28 year old major league baseball player doing hanging out with a 15 year old girl? Even if we somehow assume they were just friends until she turned 18 and legal, I find it really disturbing that a 28 year old guy wanted to hang out all the time with a 15 year old. Are there other 15 year old girls he hung out with? Is he still hanging out with 15 year old girls?
One record executive claims that he saw Roger and Mindy together in a bar getting hammered when Mindy was just 19. I believe the drinking age is 21, so we know that Roger was not above contributing to the delinquency of a minor in that regard, so why not get a little action when she was 15 or 16 or 17.

A major league team used to summer train near where I live and my friends and I used to follow the team so to speak. Some of us might have been 18 at the time, I'm not sure. ;)
In other words, I don't think Roger throwing Mindy his curve balls is far fetched at all.
and we wonder how she could become a drug addict....although hanging out with a much older married man could be a symptom of something earlier in her life...either way the guy comes off pervy.
She said that she was indeed fifteen, and that the night they met, she went to his hotel room but that "no sex occured".

Teenage girls LOVE attention from older men. They're just starting to understand their sexual power, and teenage boys are a pretty clumsy, confused bunch. All it takes is one unscrupulous scumbag older man and one teen girl with daddy/self-esteem issues and you have a pedo's fantasy. I'm not surprised or doubtful, just disgusted.

Ugh, this story gets me. Not just because of how disappointing Clemens actions have been in the recent past and with these new allegations, but because I'm currently dating a baseball player.
It's extremely new and I have been very cautious and even told him my feelings on their "lifestyle" as a whole, and he has reassured me over and over there are some "good guys" on the teams.
Funny, I'm pretty sure Clemens was always considered one of those "good guys".
I think its time to reaasess the relationship. I don't want to get arrested in the future for murder or penile-decapitaton.
Maybe he knows Miley Cyrus...She's 15.

I was just telling a friend that kids now a days are having sex as young as 12. And if they get pissed at you they will charge you for sexual assault. Which makes it hard to tell who is telling the truth.
I used to adore Roger Clemens (as a baseball player, not a "guy" , ie didn't have the hots or anything ;)
And now...he just keeps getting sleazier and sleazier...well, I guess he always WAS sleazy, just as Tom Cruise always WAS crazy, we're just now learning about it...
*sigh*
This suddenly makes Mindy's many problems over the years very clear.
Appears that other women are getting ???s about their connections to Clemens. He flew them in a private jet around the country. Never could stand the guy. He was talented but an A-1 a$$hole. Not surprised at all that he cheated. Most of them do. Good luck, Staci.
