I'm Trying To Imagine Their Children
Hey guess who is dating at least in the world of celebrity gossip. Of course this is the same world that has brought you Jake and Reese as well as Hayden and Rachel, not to mention Jennifer Aniston and whatever guy touches her during the day.
Well this one is kind of cool, and it is Keanu Reeves and Parker Posey. Yes, I know. Their dinners are probably filled with Parker talking and talking and Keanu saying nothing, followed by Keanu still saying nothing, and then saying he needs to go out and have a smoke.
The pair first met about four years ago when Parker tried to get Keanu in a silent action adventure movie she was producing. I don't know if it would have done well at the box office, but damn, you just know that it would be a destination DVD for anyone who had any kind of quiet, mood altering substances with which they wished to experiment.
So, Parker has dated a long list of guys, but the ones I can think of off the top of my head are Ryan Adams and Thomas Beller. Keanu doesn't date much.
Parker and Keanu were spotted at the Chateau Marmont bar sitting together. This wasn't one of those across the room things where someone imagined them together and said their eyes locked across the crowded room and you knew they were soul mates kind of thing. This was actual contact.
You should close your eyes and also try and imagine what their kid would be like. Broody and moody with a desire to sing on Broadway. So, if they do hook up you think she can talk him into being in a couple of the Christopher Guest films?

dude I'm totally with you on this one. A weird pair, but they somehow make sense to me. And I bet they have a shared love of the ganj.

NO! Parker seems way too bright for him, but if she's happy, I'm happy because I just LOVE her.
Something strikes me as odd. There's no such thing as "Cheateau Marmont bar." I've yet to meet anyone who lives in LA and knows the entertainment industry who doesn't know this. There's the lobby, dining room, or patio at Chateau, or there's Bar Marmont. There is no bar inside the Chateau Marmont.
Regardless, if I were dating all the men I've sat next to in that place...well I would be sorry for myself.
They're both kinda weird, but she's kinda loveably quirky and he just strikes me as odd...

I just spotted Parker in NYC this past weekend. But no Kenau in sight.
I don't know. I think Keanu deserves a bit of the happiness that Parker has in her life (and I'm not talking about the happiness that comes with a blunt.)
I guess everyone has forgotten that a few years ago, Keanu and his girlfriend at the time had a baby that was stillborn. He was still going to marry her, then she died in an accident.
'accident' Leah. she was super high on coke..a lot of people assume it was suicide. sad.
but yes, Keanu has had a terrible couple of years. hard to beleive that he was in Bill n Ted.
Jax -- I thought she had died in a car accident -- guess I remembered wrong.
In any event, it was all sad and I wish Keanu and Parker happiness.
Keanu never really hit me as being one for a lot of Hollywood charades and publicity.
For some reason I adore this pairing. I love Parker and maybe the best possible thing for her is a brooding, quiet, hot guy. You're right, Ent, she could do all the talking. I love it!
Didn't know that about Keanu's past- that is really really sad.
I love Keanu even if I can't pronounce his name. ;) I think he is one of the best looking men in Hollywoood. But, I'm not going to say he's the best actor. ;)

Well I love, love, love, love me some Keanu. If he makes him happy, then I am all for it. He is my #1 choice of a celebrity date. I would be a better choice, but short of stalking the man, he is tough to find. I want to make him dinner. Seriously, I flat out adore him.
Here's the story from memory
Jennnifer, her last name escapes me just this sec, was the woman's name. They were a couple for awhile. They broke up, she turned up pregnant. She carried to term and then in the last month, the baby's heart stopped beating. They named her Eva. Shortly there while after, she was 28 at the time, she suffered from depression. (I can't imagine such a sad, sad heartbreak) She started to go out a bit. One night, she was at Marilyn Manson's house partying it up. She did a fair amount of cocaine and was drinking. She got a ride home from the party, but then decided to go back out early in the am, like 4. I understand this wasn't her habit, she was depressed and selfmedicating. She ran into some parked cars by the Hollywood Bowl, wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car where she was killed on impact. She is buried next to her daughter. Her parents in turn tried to sue the pants off of Marilyn Manson, to no avail.
His sister Kim, she is nothing short of the most amazing woman I have ever met. She literally changed my life. She is astonishing. She is well, she is the best. I would write the story. I will. No I won't. Trust, she is made of steel, honey, & beauty. Which leads me back to Keanu. Yup, I really want to make him dinner. He should take me up on that.

Love Parker. This probably just means they were having a druggie night together and made out. Good clean fun. She can do whatever she wants, she's great. She could really give a shit about any of the b.s. in this world, at least in my imagined persona of her. And a very positive energy for Keanu. My contrived image of both of them says this is a fun make-out match. Where is the camera phone footage!!!!
