Another Grammy Mashup

First was the announced mashup of Rihanna with The Time. Then came the news that Tina Tina Turner and Beyonce were going to sing together. Now, it looks as if Foo Fighters and Led Zeppelin are going to get together and work their way through the Foo song The Pretender. No word on any other songs the two groups may play together, or if Led Zeppelin will perform one of their own.

With the writers union agreeing to an interim deal, and the great performances, this could quite honestly be the best Grammy show in a very long time.

That is of course true, even without the special appearance by Michael Jackson performing a song from Thriller 25. Oh, I guess you think it is a coincidence that the album is going to be released the day after the Grammy's. Please. The only thing I haven't been able to figure out is if Michael is going to duet with Akon, Kanye or Fergie.

I haven't been this excited about the Grammy Awards in a long time, this is going to be an amazing performance.

Every now and then I hit up youtube to check out 'Soy Bomb' during the Bob Dylan performance, hehe.

If Plant sets foot off that stage without singing Whole Lotta Love i will cut a bitch.

Foo Fighers and Zepplin - together? I'm in too; normally you couldn't pay me to sit through the Grammy awards.

Zeppelin was beyond amazing at the O2 -- yes I was there!!!!- and they truly are GODS OF ROCK.
Now if only Plant would get off his ASS and commit to the tour....

I don't really want to see Michael Jackson perform. He's weird.

Wow not a good day for the blog writer here. I wish Led Zepplin were performing anywhere but it just isn't so. The bassist is and here's the release: John Paul Jones will arrange a special orchestral version of the FOO FIGHTERS' hit single "The Pretender" and will serve as special guest conductor of the FOO FIGHTERS' orchestra as part of this year's My Grammy Moment, produced in partnership with YouTube and CBS.com.
