Britney And Kevin Meet
People and the other tabs are making a big deal of the fact that Britney and Kevin met at the office of Britney's attorney. People called the meeting "unscheduled" and made it seem as dramatic as a Ken Paves hissy fit. For those of you who read the blog, you will have known that Britney and Kevin had to meet for mediation and this was that meeting. Mediation is required by state law for any proposed changes to custody or visitation. It is very often a waste of time unless the parties are not represented by attorneys and then it is very useful. Generally the parties meet with an outside mediator and there are no attorneys present and it can be a good thing if lawyers aren't involved. We don't want things to settle until right before trial because we have to make our money. Plus, people who pay for lawyers are generally the people who want to see the fight through to the bitter end, or until they are asked to sign over their house to pay for the legal fees. Sad, but true.
Britney and Kevin are due in court on Monday, but it will just be the attorneys saying that mediation didn't do a damn thing and they will need to go to trial in December.

I just can't believe that Britney's lawyer has not handled this mess yet. That is why you hire the ultimate anti-Christ for your lawyer to make sure none of this haggling goes on for years. Get the down low on the husband and prove him a big ass pot head and more on.

I have noticed so many inaccuracies and inconsistencies in this writer's persona but one thing is clear: There is no way the writer here is a licensed, practicing attorney in CA. Basically sounds like the writer found a mediator( also a lawyer) website & rewrote that. Also their hearing was widely reported for November awhile ago.
